Bread for carp is always my go to! That or a couple pieces of corn and a weight, can't go wrong. This inspired me to maybe get away from the bass for a day and fish for some catfish or carp, change it up a bit. Can't wait to see more vids from this trip!

Nice to see a Tournament SS still being used. Tip: anywhere ducks are fed bread, carp are sure to eat it. Also, circle hooks with a smooth tightening of the line and a firm sweep to set.

I go fishing like this all the time in the river here! I use small treble hooks instead of the ones you used since they have those soft mouths. Better hook up rate IMO! This is my favorite way to fish.

I was in the Pyrenees mountains in Spain around this time, and it was hotter than normal there too. I was able to spend some time on the fly and caught my first Zebra Brown Trout - exclusive to that area!

If you want some awesome carp and hybrid stiper fishing in the states. Raystown lake, PA has multitudes of huge, massive common carp and they feed like crazy. (love the fleetwood mac btw)

hey jon if youre ever in tennessee ive got a creek smallmouth hole that is great its very far in the woods away from people so it doesnt get disturbed a lot. the biggest to come out of the hole was 5 lbs and ive caught 3 and 4 pounders there also. the fish are still in there so if you want a good day of Tennessee smallmouth fishing i know the perfect place.

Hey Jon, compared to bass, carp have really rubbery mouths. Hook sets are much easier to hook into them as they chew on the bread. The bread becomes a hard dough ball on the inside when it gets wet so the hook isn't exposed right away like a bass rig where bass are so much more aggressively with the force bass hit the bait with. Each species has different timing. Dope trip footage man.
