I have rants like that almost every night I go out cat fishing by myself. Lol How about this one? Once I caught a 26 lb. Common snapping turtle on one pole, I was fighting with it trying to get it off my hook on the bank. While my second pole (my great grandpas 70 year old pole and bait caster went off) I grabbed it. The turtle tried to run off with my first pole still attached. So I flipped the turtle on its back, put my foot on its stomach, and reeled the 33lb blue cat in on my great grandpas tiny little bait caster. That thing had taken a lot of line out by the time I got to getting it in too. I kept the fish and got it on my stringer before getting it off the hook. Wouldn't you know it, the hook came out of the turtles mouth immediately, as soon as I tried after all of that. Lol but I caught one of my biggest blues on my great grandpas 70 year old pole (pb at the time) while I had my foot on a snapping turtles stomach that was on my other pole.

I know this may come off as a stupid/silly question, but does anybody know what type of boat that is? Or where I could purchase one similar to that? A company and model name would be a big help if known

hmm, im from Germany, but i cant unterstand what the hell you are doing there... you are alone. you Guys Knie how tricky this Lake is. and then you try to handle 8 rods ? why, if youre Friends finde, then they have to Pull their Rods out. in germany where i life this is forbidden what you are doing, max 2-4 rods and its Not allowed to Take rods far away from the Spot where you fish. anyway its an good Video, but next time Take the rods out, in germany you have to pay for something like that, its not even fair for the fish. but still wish you a Nice Day, and sorry for My Bad English

I live in Houston and don't really fish Houston lake but I did go fish beside the dam and seen one service and his head was probably 40 pounds. But besides that we have some giant carp here in east Texas. These carp aren't really anything compared to ours. I didn't realize our carp were really big until I saw y'all freaking out about the ones y'all caught

I'm typing this hoping that you actually read these like you say you do. But it sounds a lot like my first experience with carp. I took a friend of mine to a place where I had seen someone catch one before that was the first one I had seen in Alabama. This was at the time the biggest fish I had ever seen. Needless to say I was awestruck at the size and power of the fish. It almost spooled my bass rod before I could stop it them next to the bank straightened my hook. Since that day I have been ever addicted to carp and have only within the last few months managed to get back into bass

Hey Jon, I know your probs not gonna be able to see this but if you do I'm just saying that in fishing the best thing to do sometimes is just let it go and have a rest, every fish couldve been the biggest one but it's best not to think about it as a missed opportunity but an opportunity to strengthen your skills and then get the big one next time....

Get a bivvie by your rods because if your far away and your bite alarm goes off your rod will go in the water because that happened to me hahaha😅😂😆
