Fishing With Cut Bait For Snook, Trout And Redfish, Catching Multiple Species On Florida Flats 

I caught multiple species while using cut Pinfish for bait. To my surprise I hooked a really big Snook and caught three nice Spotted Sea Trout with the cut bait. I also landed a big Ladyfish and a few catfish. The reason I put in the title that I was fishing with Pinfish for Redfish is because I saw a couple of nice reds, but just couldn't get them to take the bait.
Pinfish are really easy to catch on the flats. All that is needed is a tiny #8 hook and a small piece of shrimp or squid. Just look for the sandy pot holes in the grass and cast the bait in them. In no time you'll be hooked up with a baitfish.
Also in these sandy areas is where a lot of the bigger fish like Redfish, Snook and Speckled Trout will lay waiting for the tide to bring something to eat their way. All of the fish I caught on cut Pinfish in this video were laying in those sandy areas among the grass flats.
