Good Afternoon ladies and gents! Todsay I am out at one of my many locations along the West Coast of Scotland! Today I am out with my HRF gear, specifically my Seekers and Sandeels from Savage Gear. My Mission is to pick up a Pollock or two. I'm only an hour late to high tide, but its a slow draw out so hopefully the pollock are still kicking about! Feudal in the SALT! Love it! I'm going to be doing this tomorrow here in Texas. Saltwater fishing is one of my greatest loves. The line-through lure is interesting. Sort of like a knocker rig but you have a lure in place of the sinker. I'll have to see if I can find one of those in the US to try. I feel like the Spanish Mackerel would go crazy for them. Also, live pollock are a LOT prettier than I realized!

Enjoyed this vid a great deal. Fun to see you pull one pollock. Brought me back to when I went fishing with my dad about 40 years ago. Never caught pollock, only baby bluefish we call snappers. We had to get up at 5am and used sandworms and minnows for bait. The pollock you pulled in has huge dark eyes. Glad you had a grand day out. It is beautiful there! Thank you for sharing your trip and your fishing tips!

That looks like a golden colored catfish without whiskers. But that's a baby. I usually get 3-6lb cats. I've landed up to a 28lb cat.
