If Sthl made it, we had it, because he made sure that was what was purchased. I never left the shop without trying to start something first. Personally, I think he liked them simply for his own job security, though or he was getting kick backs from the local dealer.
Yeah my grandpa had a stihl chainsaw, and EVERY time it was a bitch to start. And then once it started it was a bitch not to stall it for the first couple minutes.

When I was a kid I got a spin bait hooked in the skin between my thumb and index finger. The old man that owned the marina had to cut the hook and push it the rest of the way through. It was nice of him to help since he would have to chase me off his docks every summer. 😂🇺🇲
My dad liked to tie flies in my parent's bedroom. They had this thick blue shag carpet in there. After the second time he had to rip a hook out of my foot with a needle nose plier I stopped going in there without shoes on.

Lol, did that exact thing when I was 10. Uncle pushed it through, snipped the barb off, pulled it out. Cousin was upset I ruined his brand new rooster tail.
My dad was a "Roscoe" in spirit. We'd fish in the 12' aluminum boat and when dad casted the Roostertail would pass by me or my brother depending on which way he threw. If dad's hook got tangled up in your line he would chew butt on how you were in his way. We learned to watch when he casted and had great peripheral vision. Once I started rowing the boat life was better.

In highschool I was going back casting in a boat and looked behind me to see my hook gently caressing my friends cheek and he look at me with the most “bruh😑” face I have ever seen😂😂 Learned my lesson after that 😂

Had a similar situation happen to me, friend cast overhead and his lure got stuck in the top of my head. I tried to push the hook thru and pull it out but ended up going to the E.R. and the doc used stitching thread to remove the lure. Friend got the lure back and we had a good laugh.
I've had this happen before while deep sea fishing in the gulf. Caught me in the back of my head and hooked into my scalp. Three inch four barb hook. Was not a fun day.
Omg this made me have a flashback when I was little. I was about 9 and where at a campground and I was camping with a friend I knew up there and I was fishing with my friend and her dad and next thing I know she went to cast her line and I heard her dad yell she caught him right above his eye with her lure. I ran crying got my mom and stepdad and they came down to help. That was one fishing trip I could never ever forget.
