Technically Cartman Deserves half the credit he was in the room he helped Jimmy come up with a joke that stuck, if cartman didn’t ask for something else to eat , the fish sticks joke wouldn’t have came about, Craig is right Just give cartman half, Kyle is twisting what happened into something it’s not, Kyle was not in the room so he can’t say anything.

This was done way B4 Ye became obviously nutty. The South Park writers wrote the joke and wanted to put a celebrity into the episode that they thought wouldn't get it, and chose him. It was 10 yrs before the rest of us caught up to how out of it he is

I've seen this episode a few times and thinking about it again, I kindof think Cartman is a little right: Jimmy's comedy writing mind caught that it was a good joke, but if Cartman hadn't been there asking for other food, Jimmy would never have said that and realized the joke potential. Cartman should get 10% of the credit.
