Thanks for having me out! Your video is the first I've seen that does the color justice. At first I was nervous because it almost looked black in photos and videos, but in person the green really pops, especially in direct sunlight. Loving my Ocean!
Very useful comparison video. The green color looks beautiful! I like the cleaner ultra without the badge at the back. Fisker didn’t do a good job feature comparing the Ocean Extreme, Ultra and Sport trims. It should be readily and clearly available on their website. This helps buyers make informed decisions. Thank you!
The interior of the Fisker leaves so much to be desired. It just reminds me of late 90s, early 2000s dated interiors. Maybe its just something you have to see in person. Im looking to rent one for a few days and get a feel for the vehicle.
I like the interior better than my Tesla (I know that's not saying much)! I don't remember any of my early 2000s cars having ambient lighting, alcantara, dual phone chargers, 17" screen, etc.
I totally agree. It was kind of an arbitrary decision to limit them. Mariana was my fav for the first set of colors. I would have a tough time picking a color now. I love the Solar Orange and Sea Grass.
Great video. Did you say there is no digital rear mirror on the Ultra? Really disappointed when you unlock that the front of the Ultra doesnt illuminate the same as the One/Extreme.
But even though you didn’t get that package others noted that theirs has all packages activated. Is yours coming with the ability to rotate already installed as well as heated seats?
Let us know when you have a chance if the Ultra has the Hollywood mode in this car since he mentioned he didnt get any options other than the rear cargo cover. Fingers crossed it has that feature standard for that trim.
@@MTNRanger I have only tried the press and press and hold process for open and close. Do I need to reset something prior to performing the press and hold?
@@markread2432 Key fob needs to be in car at time of doing the liftgate window reset via the overhead panel. 1) Open rear window fully then let go of button and then immediately hold button for 5-6 seconds. Let go of button. 2) Then close rear window fully via the overhead panel button and then let go of button when closed. Then immediately hold button again for 5-6 seconds and then let go of button.
@@MTNRanger I tried and the rear window still stops 1/2" short. Pressing the UP a second time raises the window snug 1/2" further. It does not leak at the first position, so maybe it is designed that way.
Can you confirm your comment in conclusion; his Ocean Ultra did not come with Digital rear view mirror? Curious because the camera was there in the tailgate?
Maybe other than the seats, I think I prefer the Ultra. Wouldn't want the solar roof (the design is just silly to me), wouldn't use the center taco tray and it takes up usable space, and like the fact that Ocean doesn't light up on the front (again just preference but it looks a bit silly to me - unless at night it does still light up). Only thing I'd want are leather/vegan seats. Now that prices have be discounted so heavily, it's intriguing as an EV cost wise. Only concern is software support if they go bankrupt.
They have the same drivetrain and motor configuration and both have a 0-60 of 3.9 seconds. If you option the sport package it will get boost mode that will allow 3.7 seconds like the Extreme.
How is the ultra sounds system compare to the extreme? And is it worth it to upgrade to extreme just over the sounds system? I want a better sounds but i dont hv the extra to buy extreme
Most of the spec sheets I have seen show 468 hp / 514 lb-ft torque for both. In boost mode (if purchased on the Ultra), they will have 564 hp / 543 lb-ft torque.
Ty, also.. going through my extreme configuration, can't seem to see the Alcantara maliblu interior. Just the white one .. huh.. unless it's an option only for One
@@Ghostz9962 Maliblu should be an option for the Extreme. It's not available on the Sport or Ultra. I just checked the configurator and it's showing up for me.
@@Ghostz9962 If I had to pay for it, I would probably get the Black Abyss Plus. Since all options were free with One, I figured, why not get the Maliblu.
@Fiskerati has Nightdrive Black, @163Grad, @Gentlemensworld and @EV-365 have Big Sur Blue, @Ocean1_FSR has Horizon Gray, @FiskerOceanSpecialist has Blue Planet. Who else has Mariana?
Range is 350 miles for the Ultra, 360 miles for the Extreme/One. Base price is $52,999 for Ultra, and $61,499 for Extreme. You can look at the configurator on the fiskerinc.com website to see all the differences. www.fiskerinc.com/configure
Luckily I qualified for the transition tax credit of $7500 due to making a non-refundable deposit before 8/15/22. Anything after that date will not get a tax credit.
@@MTNRanger This is what I am saying, is in the truck price, not an SUV. Very hard to sell in the Cybertruck and Tuareg price range, Tesla Y is 10000 euros cheaper... If you spend 70k euros just for how is looking... your choice...
@@costiqueR I don't have European pricing available at the moment, but I think the Extreme is in the 60k euro range since it had a large price cut. The Ultra is a lot cheaper, around 50k euros. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Tesla's are like an arsehole EVERYBODY has one. How wants to drive the same vehicle as your whole street ! As for that ugly fucking thing they call a truck might have fitted in back in 1983. Ugly as sin. I bet it causes telsa horrendous problems
@@MTNRanger Just checked, and one Ultra is available at 64k euro, and 10 Extreme are available with prices starting from 67k euro. It is not bad at all, but still have all the start-up companies' problems: I do not have the money for testing on my behalf the untested cars... personally, I buy just cars that are on the market in volumes for at least 2 years. There was no Tesla to have no problems at launch... Look at Chinese EVs, all have various problems... and service... is a big issue. PS: I enjoy the OCEAN design. I like it.
