I love how you're showing us a different perspective of life in the Philippines. It takes hard work, mixed with some fun and laughter to result in a beautiful, simple life, lived cheerfully.

"Fell asleep at 8. Woke up at 5" totally happens to me every time I'm home in Ph as well, especially in the provinces. I reckon it's co's you witness so much in a day in the Philippines; so even when you don't get much done, you still feel fulfilled by the end of the day and your body just releases the melatonin naturally as a way of saying "What a day, let's get ready for the next".
That's so unique! Our vacation house is near by the sea and i never seen locals fishing like that even my titos who are fishermen. That's wow👌👍👏😍 And it's a great morning workout too 😂

Keep the aerial shots of the waves coming, Kulas 🌊! Thank you for nicely capturing those movements of mother nature that we don't normally see when we're actually on the beach. Oh just a little tip with the lagaraw, if you don't mind (the long machete with a curved tip), when you're making big whips try not swinging your wrist much, make it firmer to maximize the force from your forearm. You're doing good with using the middle part of it for larger chops. 👍🏼 The bit of wrist swing is useful when you're chopping smaller bits with the curved part & tip. There's also a nice garden/yard tool that's very handy, small & versatile called GUNÁ. It's pretty common in many households and as long as it's sharp, it can be great in digging up stubborn roots & grasses. (I know coz it's the only one I had to uproot the bottom trunk of a previously cut & cleared out giant bougainvilla that was wrecking our concrete fence in the Phils.😹) Power on Kulas, Kumar 💥 & Cateel team! They do that here too. But is is like a little catamaran boat... the pull across the sea when the surf isn't too big! I follow them.. and they always have 5 or 6 pretty good sized fish in their bag! really cool you vlogged it. Never really though to vlog it. How you captured it with your Drone... and interview.. and then did it yourself.. really cool. awesome job!

I remember my childhood time in this vlog. i used that same technique which my cousin thought me when i having a vacation on Mindoro. such a great experience doing that kind of stuff. we sell are catch fish on the neighborhood and some fish we grill and ate it. maybe my next vacation on the Philippines i can do it again. thanks for this kulas

i envy this guy, his living his life to the fullest at young age. I might be experiencing that when i reach retirement and no energy left. also I feel relax when watching vlog like this, its province life simple, peaceful, away from stress, i wish i could live like that together with my kids & wife.
Grabeng tawa ko kay kulas, i am happy that you choose to live in my hometown, dati di ko na appreciate yang lugar na yan when i was young, kasi nga everyday diyan kami pumupunta nangangahoy, kuha ng niyog at laro na rin with my classmates and cousins, but now everyday ko siyang nakikita sa pag uupload mo na appreciate ko na ang lugar ko. Yes we are blessed na ing ana kaganda among lugar, mahaba pa yan pls pag human na imong quarantine kulas, go to San Antonio and sa pikas nga beach ingat always and thank you sa everyday video. What a way to wake up in the morning - straight to the beach even though the sky is looking ominous. Your eyes wandered near and far while walking on the beach and for an instant, something captured your attention, a fisherman running and following something into the water. Speaking for myself, I am glad you filmed the event otherwise I didn't know there's this type of fishing method. Using a fishlike tool to catch fish - genius! Who would think that a person can multi-task - running while fishing at the same time - intense workout with a purpose - to catch fish in time for lunch/dinner! First time to see one like that! Awestruck with the method. I am flabbergasted how you do it but every time you piped out new video, you present your viewers and subscribers tricks of people living in the rural areas and how they go about their daily lives with creativity and resourcefulness - astonishing! The situation didn't escape my observation, obviously, you have the difficulty uprooting the stump of the tree - my unsolicited suggestion, time to buy essential tools to make it easier for you guys, you need chain saw, shovel, corona clipper. Definitely, you need wheelbarrow to transport heavy stuff from one area to another but more so when you start building your house. Cateel is providing you the beauty of its surroundings, definitely, this is your home.
