Mama Rose is so amazing. You are surrounded by amazing people. Ansem kind of remind me of my friend way back in college. I call him "Daot" too because he's crazy, not literally though. Whenever we're having a bad day in school he would volunteer himself to be our clown and our jaws would hurt due to laughing. He liked being called Daot because for him that name made others smile and forget their problems for a bit. I've only seen him once (personally) after we graduated, that was when he got married and totally changed. He's more serious now that he has a family. But occasionally we have this video chat in social media and his jokes never gets old. my stomach would still hurt from laughing. Watching Ansem, he reminds me of him a lot. Their is something about Ansem, the way he talks or his special expressions that would make you smile. Thank you for loving me country. I live in Davao Oriental too. I was born, grew up and studied Primary & secondary in the Capital town/city of Mati. Both my parents are from the east cost. Mom is from Caraga while Dad is from Cateel. Only been to both places once, after Typhoon Pablo (Bopah) hits for some humanitarian mission.

The camaraderie between kulas, kumar, kumander Daot, jandee, mike - the Pinoy macgyver , and Mama Rose🌹 is truly a remarkable and beautiful friendship and a real essence of “family “! I would live there and would love to experience this friendship/family! Pretty awesome to have this type of simple but fulfilling living on this side of the world...

It's fun to see KUMANDER DAOT on your vlog. I'm always waiting for him to say something funny or make a face gesture. He's full of life.

One of my relatives owned a beach resort in Agusan Norte and it used to be our go-to place for family occasions and weekends. But when they put lots of concrete facilities there, its not appealing anymore i.e. no more excitement. What I realized is that when you disrupt nature , the place becomes boring. So, piece of advice bai Kulas, plan & design with nature as your main backdraft - just like an art. Minimal structures the better, more natural - the more exciting. You've got a good place for a beach house. All the best & God bless.

Kulas, it is important to wash your hands everytime you pick up food ie, shakoy,turon or fried food from Mama Rose' kitchen.

Tough process building a house out there. No machineries and equipment, all you need are hard working guys. Didn't even know that lumber can be produced from coconut tree. Noticed that Kumander had his laptop sitting on a blanket. This is a big NO NO. Blocking the air vents and worse, providing a source of lint and other stuff to clog up the cooling fins inside, will cause laptops to overheat. Philippines is already quite warm so it might be helpful for the good of your laptops to put them on a hard surface so they can get air through the cooling slots.

Correct me if I am wrong, I think Mama Rose's abstract painting looks like a representation of fauna and flora - elephant in the middle and color contrast of different flora on the sides. Mama Rose has a meticulous sets of eyes and an arm that can transform miracles - so impressed! Aerial view of the long coastline complemented by the mountain like hills covered with flora and the never ending presence of coconut trees are spectacular from above. Obviously, George is an attention seeker - he knew where to get a good shot every time you're around but no doubt in my mind, he is an excellent subject of attention in your daily blogging. The sad thing is the stacked wood is better than the Kummander's place before he built the fish pond house. It's a joy to watch the way everyone jokes and has fun. FYI, you have to be very careful using coconut lumber for building. Coconut timber need to be kilned dry to last any decent period and even then, it does not last as long as other hardwood. Different part of the coconut tree behave differently, the inside part of the tree is actually soft and prone to termites and need to be pressured treated with boric acid to avoid the problem...

If you lean the wood like that it will dry crooked and twist.... best is to elevate it a bit above ground and lay it horizontal, well supported and level on the ground so the wood stays straight
