There's another video on RU-vid where a guy drilled a hole 2 inches away from the factory hole and bung. He actually told people to cut a hole. 🕳 😳 People in the comments mentioned the factory hole next to hole he drilled.
@@highergroundlifestyle: It went really good, thanks to your clip. Really easy. I have never done the wiring before, so I bought workshop manual to avoid fatal mistake and it turned up great. Thank you. You should do more of them, so the people like me can learn and do things themselves.
Great tutorial! Thanks for posting. It will be good to see your towing review. I use to tow a small caravan weighing 900kg with my 1300cc Jimny. It was a bit asthmatic going up hills. I am hoping that the new 1500cc engine which has more torque will be better than the old version.
Great video! What is the part number for the wiring harness? I would like to pair it with the aftermarket tow bar as now there are plenty available for new Jimny, for half the price.
Great video, thank you However the wiring harness, while good quality, seems to me to be a poor design. Firstly it's too long, and secondly you can't refit the lid on the fuse box. ls it a Suzuki part, or aftermarket ?
Hi, I think the harness works well as it’s “plug and play” but agree that you can’t refit the lid on the gearbox! Installation would have been easier if Suzuki had brought a tail off the fuse box back to the rear of the car but I don’t suppose you can have everything!
l've just fitted one using this video as a guide. It is genuine Suzuki and l agree a poor product. While it works fine, the wiring harness is too long and looks a mess when installed. Although it doesn't really matter it still bugs me covering up messy wiring with the trim panel. Also there's no connection for switched or permanent live, needed for caravans. The plug connector is in the harness but where am l supposed to get the rest of it from?
Hi Can you tell me where you got this 13pin wiring loom. I got one with the towbar I bought but it's wired up a really strange way with the "loop in - loop out" connectors down behind the bumper and exposed to the elements. Thank you
Alistair, hi. This look was supplied by Suzuki and, as you can see, it’s “plug and play”. I’ve used generic looms before but they can be a nightmare. This one was very reasonably priced and makes the job very easy!
storminatwork at Higher Ground Lifestyle , did you have any idea if I fix on those stock wheels and car tires size 235/75 Any effect will be . Thanks from Sweden
