Hi, can you please clarify a bit more wiring this new led bulb because there are many different ways of connecting on various tutorials and it is a bit confusing sometimes. Did you connect live wire from bulb directly to the resistor and further on orange wire and negative wire from bulb on switch plate? Orange wire on technics is live and brown is negative? Thanks for sharing these infos!

Yes the orange wire is the live and the resistor goes to the Anode (+ side usually the long leg) of the LED and the wire from the switch goes to the Cathode (- side usually the short leg) of the LED
