Love watching your vid's Steff. They inspired me to start working on my own 182 instead of paying a garage all the time. Ended up working on my friends and families 182s too. Drove black mountain pass for the first time a few weeks back, nothing more satisfying than driving a good bit of road/track and knowing your own hard work went into being able to do so. Keep up the vid's.
Love to hear this thank you, it's all about starting small and taking your time. There is plenty of help out there, so dont be afraid to ask. And like you say, it's a great feeling knowing it's you that put this together, built it and giving your self that smile as you whip down them lovely roads.
hi mate i know this is a while back now and you may have figured this out or been told already but the twin lock nuts at bottom of the spring are to set pre load you adjust the height by undoing the lower (3rd single) lock nut and moving the shock up and down in the body
Thank you, I should have pointed this out in the video. Completely dumb move by me but yes I did know this at the time, it was more about getting it on and out the door. It's all been setup since this with new springs. Great input tho!
