Did you watch the movie or you're only judging by the trailers? And what direction are you talking about? Also, this is a semi-biographical traumedy movie, it's inspired by the director's diagnosis and her experience with doctors, I don't think her experience is wrong or untrue
I also have MRKH. My first reaction was "gawd they turned THIS into a woke thing" (forgive the term pls)... then I thought of it more. If I was diagnosed today, of course this would be the conversation. When I was diagnosed over 20 years ago, I contemplated what it means to be a woman - especially since I can't have kids. Today? How can this not be a part of that conversation?
There’s a difference between a conversation about what it means to be a woman when you have reproductive challenges and trying to suggest women born with reproductive challenges are intersex. To knowingly mislead about something like that is unforgivable
