Great tutorial, thanks for sharing Martin..👍, it really helped and it gave me confidence to have a go. The speakers make a massive difference to the sound quality. I read the comments and I also didn't take the rear seat out.
Thank you Martin, I found your tutorial easy to follow and the speaker updates have made all the difference to sound quality. I was interested in one of your followers discussing sound proofing, however the space in the new Jimny is quite small so not sure if this would make much difference. Welcome any views on this.
I’ve bought some new speakers for the JB74 but can’t decide to put them in the front or the back, I don’t mind the work, what makes the most improvement, front or back? Obviously having them in the back will mean 4 speakers instead of just two front ones…..
Whats the probability that the rattling/vibration sound on the rear back passenger side of my jimny gen4 with 500km only! Comes from those cables under the panel 4:35 i had a rear camera installed by a 3rd party and i know the camera cables go through there😢 (i have al ready checked the spare tire and even removed it and the rattling is still there)
In my kit I am only able to find screws for securing the metal mount to the car but no screws for securing the speakers to the metal mount is this how it's supposed to be or did I somehow loose the screws? I've tried the screws that came with the pioneer ts-g1330f speakers but they are too large for the holes in the metal mount, do we know what screw size will fit the holes in the metal mount so that I can order these separately?
Hi Martin, any tips on disconnecting the seat belt alert wires under the back seat? In the video you seem to easily disconnect them at 2:35 but when I tried on my Jimny I did push the little plastic tab on the underside of the connection but nothing seemed to be happening it wouldn't unplug. I tried pulling a bit harder but still nothing, I wasn't expecting this would be so difficult especially given how easily you are able to do it in the video.
Hi, i just wanted to know if the wiring in the back is prepared for the speakers and its just plug & play or do you need to wire it to the main console at the front?
Great video, thanks. Can you tell me if the LCV commercial version now on sale in the UK allows for rear speaker connection? I don't want to order a speaker kit only to find the wiring loom has been modified and the connectors on this version of the Jimny have been removed. Also I would like to take the opportunity to add sound deadening material when the trim is off, any recommendations? Thanks
Suzuki south africa don't even know what I'm talking about when I asked them about these kits. I even got the actual part number off of another video, and still they don't know.. Will have to order from overseas when we're allowed to again...
