Hello World,
This is going to be the next episode of my Poker Vlog. I played 2/5 at Sarasota. I play better than I think I have been playing the last few weeks. I attribute the better playing to extra time studying on Pokercoaching.com.

Tough. If your mind is not right, best decision is to walk away. You made the right bet, played correctly. But as you stated, his equity meant he did too. Life at the power table is one long game, not day to day, or hand to hand. I had a 9 month session in 2023 of what felt like one bad beat after another. Turned around before end of year, and run good still continues in 2024. You will too. But variance is still hard on you when you're deep in that run bad.

Smart, strong play at the end; walking away. Well done.

Good point, I bring enough $$ for 3 buy ins. Rarely do I fire all 3 bullets.

Absolutely agree - if your mind isn't right, walk away. Thanks for being a good player who confirms that what I do in the same situation is the right thing.

I’ll often times express tilt at the table when I catch a bad beat and rebuy. The image of a lose player on tilt chasing his losses can get you called light

Good decision to get up after the bad beat. Three weeks ago, I made AA66 against a flopped set of Jacks and lost a buy-in. It was early, so I put in another bullet. In a 6+ hour session over 218 hands, I had been dealt zero big pairs. I finally picked up JJ and got all -n verses QQ. Sometimes, the poker gods just have it in for you. I enjoy your blogs, even the bad results -- keep sending them!

What was the action and stack sizes that led you to getting JJ in pre?

Lost a 3 way all in with JJ last night when guy turned a set of 9s. Was super tilted and almost rebought but decided to go home and decompress instead. Sometimes it's best to just walk away.

Kudos to you for picking up and calling it a night when you knew you weren't in a good headspace! My mental game is something I've been working on and made some progress with, but definitely have some work to do still. I think at the end of the day that's where the biggest gains are and what determines winner is who plays their A game the most.

That A4 hand with a flush draw. Top pair and a flush draw. It doesnt make sense you folded on a turn when you reraise on the flop. You got scared. I think your ahead on that hand.

brutal session smh, I watch all of your vids, I just went through a brutal session where I got sucked out on 5 times on the river in all in pots when I got my money in good, when u have bad sessions like the one u just posted, what keeps u motivated to continue to play? and i see from ya vids that a lot of times u are at a table full of nits lol smh what is your go to strategy when playing against Nits?
@kylefischl6841
@kylefischl6841 6 месяцев назад
Against nits bet more often They will over fold to 2 bets and if ever raised you can just fold I watch people play bigger stacks go through the same bad runs. Lets me know people who are better than me for crazy amounts of money go through the same thing. Then a few hundred dollars doesn’t seem so bad anymore

It's just poker. Going in with the best hands didn't mean you will always wins it . Nothing is 100% in poker I guess. By the way I do play poker for sometimes now but Still fell behind . I should reconsider my new ways to travel I guess 😢😢😢

You shouldn’t really have much of a calling range out of the SB , KT suited is too weak just to call , should probably 3 bet or fold there . Love the videos .

Definitely picked this one out as a head scratcher too. K10 hits the muck fast in the small. Or 3-bet like you said , but that seems really bad in most games against most villains.
