Would love a trd model... 300hp twin turbo. 8 speed automatic. Bigger brakes, suspension. Dual quad exhaust. No options though. To keep cost down. No pano. No leather. Etc etc.
For what’s out there id rather spend 40k on this car knowing its good looking, comfortable, reliable and has all the features you want compared to the competitors
I had a 2013 Toyota Camry LE as a daily driver, and I loved it. It was great on gas, fun to drive, great on the freeway or in town driving and most importantly it was easy to maintain. It's 16 inch tires are full of air and you'll notice a smother ride as compared to thin 19 or 20 inch tires which you'll feel every rut and pothole on the road and are more expensive to replace. The 16 inch tires are inexpensive to replace, and so are the light bulbs. This car is perfect for most people who go to and from work everyday, run errands, weekend trips this Camry is your little work hose. It's a nice looking car and I'd buy one if I didn't own a Toyota Tacoma right now. You can't beat it.
@@randysalinas5388 the V6 was a nice engine still, 302HP on the XSE is very solid and the TRD was really good sounding, might want fuel economy for sure BUT having fun on the car is a plus
forget that bruh not affordable went to the dealer and see what everything cost out the door and trust and believe it is not affordable. they be crossing lexus prices
The XSE needs duel "FUNCTIONAL" exhaust tips because they give it that more sporty look. That's the only ding I'll give the new Camry XSE, otherwise I think it's 🔥. Though, it'll be 💯% 🔥 when/if they add the duel"FUNCTIONAL" exhaust. Please Toyota! 🙏👍
Yeah... in Atlanta GA here and the FULLY LOADED (Premium Plus package [whats they are showing you on the video]) for the XSE is close to 53k. I'm sure with all the dealer costs and stuff it'll be close to 60k.
Me too, I was thinking on trading my 2022 , but new ones are made of cheap material. Fabric seats my are leather. I watch other videos on new models, No V6. I'm staying with mine.
All Lexus’ are rebadged Toyotas, so for you to say it’s not that good, makes no sense!!! Lexus does nothing to distinguish itself between it/Toyota besides a slightly different body on the outside… Even the switch gears/buttons are similar. They used to give you wood, and certain other exclusive features, but you don’t even get that now a days… So literally there’s no difference anymore. Toyota/Lexus customers don’t care about that, only thing that matters in their regard is Reliabilty. Also, I’m pretty sure no car in its class left, has a v6, and the 0-60 is still similar(on the top trim) while gaining much more mpg 😉
@@2004cyrus Look at a camry interior 20years ago and how quicker it is now. Some of you have had NO STRUGGLES of the older camry models. Seriously take a look sometime. I understand the v6 issue but the hybrid had already proven its worth looking at all the transportations fleets that have used them for the past decade now. Especially the taxi fleets that have 300kmiles plus on them. It’s a losing argument at this point on reliability.
@@JJ-qk6op my newer Mazdas have real Japanese wood, I buy Mazda, the CX9 was always a V6. And Toyota is nowhere near Lexus levels of quiet, fit and finish and so on, I’m not buying your argument. Toyota Camry had lots of transmission issues a few years back. The seats in the back of the Camry flex, it’s a piece of crap. Mazda has been rated above Lexus for 4-6 years now according to JD Powers and others.
@@Anomize23the v6 argument was never about gas mileage we all know that u get a hybrid for that the v6 that Toyota made sounds like the best v6 I’ve heard in years as any car guy we just want to have fun w our slow economy cars sometimes driving a 4 banger hybrid drains the soul that’s y ppl don’t pay attention when driving anymore
@@tjhouston1280 damn right it is! It’s highway robbery! And I won’t be a party to it! I’m keeping my 2021 Mazda CX-5 that is very nicely equipped in Snowflake white pearl and has 20,630 miles as of last night! It’s not a freak vehicle but it’s clean and smells like new still. I don’t drive it tons. It’s a 45,000 mile lease and it’s up on July 1. I have saved the $21,840 to buy it in a couple of months. My first paid for car around the corner! That will free up $477 a month that I can do something else with. Maybe gamble at the casino! Hahahha not
Exactly!... I think it looks great but seeing just the one duel exhaust instead of the two duel exhaust takes away from the sporty look IMO. I want one but I'll wait till the second year maybe 3rd after they get all the kinks out. Hopefully by then they've decided to add the two duel exhaust back on the XSE. 🤞🙏
@@dadoo985 as much it looks nicer, it wouldn't make sense for a hybrid model. Though it looks like it has space for quad exhaust, so aftermarket is always an option.
Yeah nah. $40K MSRP for a Camry better be an editing error. Thats disgusting. Also not that this was a bad short, but wouldve been cool if the list was limited to things that this Camry offers for 2025 that the last one didn't.. if such a list at all exists. Standard hybrid powertrain is a change but it was AVAILABLE as a hybrid before if thats what you wanted.
I truly think this car could bring back the sedan body style, but I do think Toyota made a mistake by dropping the V6. No, not because it would be the most popular model (it never was) but simply because each specific car needs a halo model which psychologically says to buyers "I may not have the 300hp engine, but my car looks like it does". Honda made the same mistake with the Accord by first dropping the V6 then dropping the 2.0t which had similar or better performance.
Looking at a 2004 camry review and then this is an interesting comparison.🙈 Crazy how long this model have come interior AND exterior wise. Gotta be a special Ahole to say this isn’t that great and just stuck on denial😂
Just drove the xse. It feels the same as the 4 cylinder 2024 I rented the week before. The interior is very snug. The tech is nice though. I'm going with the Accord Hybrid Sport L easy choice plus no waiting list.
The Toyota owner sold his company, he did not like where this new technology was going as far as electric and hybrid vehicles. His goal was to sell vehicles that would last a lifetime but ever since they made all these new rules and regulations he didn’t even want to give it to his family, knowing that it would go down the drain. so if you know anyone who has older Toyota models, make sure you let them know to keep them for as long as you can
XSE is for those who like the sportier design, but will likely cost more with two tone paint, etc. XLE is the more “luxurious option” and even has an extra feature or two
How is $40k considered "affordable" for a mainstream sedan in the US ? This guy must be paid to said this. $20k base, $30k full option, that is affordable for a grandpa car like Camry
To me, one of the satisfactory point with Camry is it's ground clearance. European car tends to have lower gc and it is worrisome. Anybody disagree with it ?
I was impressed with Hyundai's specs, tech, and price on paper so I went to a dealership to test drive one. The second you sit down and actually see and feel the interior in person you will immediately understand the pricetag. They are cheap cars. They look like a car, but they just feel wrong. And I drive an older Chevy equinox, and even that feels high quality compared to a Hyundai.
I hope Biden comes through with some more free government money so I can afford this with everything getting more expensive. Weird how the more free money is giving out to people the more expensive expensive everything gets.
Wait 1 year and that car goes from 40k to 35k wait 2-4 years and get that same shit for less then 25k be smart with your money the year doesn’t mean shit
