I don't know why if you are saved that you would ever leave the Faith. I can't fathom not believing and trusting in Jesus. Have I backslid in the past? Yep. I repented and rededicated myself to live in obedience. I never stopped having faith even when I wasn't in obedience.

Hey Lisa, I believe this topic is a really good one to look at - given how there's such a divide between believers. I've come to conclude that we can be deceiving ourselves of our "salvation" while living a life of sin. A good example is reading Romans. We see Paul rebuking this group because they are doing the very thing they are condemning and judging others for doing Romans 2 1¶Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. 2We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. 3Do you suppose, O man-you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself-that you will escape the judgment of God? 4Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. ----- We clearly see Paul is telling believers that IF they do not repent - that God's wrath is their reward. I can honestly tell you that I was stuck in sexual sin believing that I "couldn't overcome" it. And when I would listen to certain teachers - they would use Romans 8:9 incorrectly... "You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him." Assuming Paul is saying "YOU aren't in the flesh - So you're good!" When earlier he tells them they are in danger of God's wrath (which is only reserved for the unbeliever and ungodly). Paul is reminding them all throughout Romans to repent and walk according to the Spirit. Hes rebuking them. And when I finally got set free from this sin - my while life turned around. It was a barrier in my walk and God could have let me die in my sin, BUT thankfully He didn't! I look back and see how dangerous that was and its a sin I won't ever return to because the fear of that reality is truly what the fear of the Lord is. And I was deceived in believing that I still was "good" with God at the time (even while sinning) because I had faith. I had seen what He had done in my life, so I couldn't not believe. But I missed His eternal truth which is "do all you can to avoid sin." Gen 4:7"If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.” We are commanded to flee from lusts and sin - and there are NO excuses. I wasnt doing my part to flee. And I wholeheartedly believe many ministries cater to these deceptions because they misunderstand Scripture (esp in Calvinism where they teach you can't fall away). Genuine believers can walk away from the faith (and recently Ive seen one example could be about the timing of the rapture. Those who walk away because their faith is in being spared from any trials rather than in Christ Jesus - and there is more than enough evidence to show that we arent raptured before the tribulation. So those who believe the lie that they don't have to suffer? Will likely fall away. And Joe has even talked about this in his last few "rapture" centered videos - here and in GoodFight channel)

@@lisabarrett4956 I believe that's a reflection of the work the Lord has done in your heart and life :) You sound "sold-out" for Christ and cant be deterred from your faith. The more layers that come off me? I truly see how amazing His Grace is. Its not just a song or a saying - it becomes a reality that transforms my heart and my life, more and more. Which I believe that's why Peter tells us to be ready to give a defense for the hope that is within us. Because even when we are being refined by God (and have every reason to be downcast and hopeless) others will see the hope we have; our light will shine in our darkest moments. And Just from our quick interaction - my understanding is that you've genuinely been born-again, and whatever the Lord is doing in your life - you see that He is faithful and good (regardless of your situation) no matter your situation. Which is probably why it boggles your mind how anyone who's been "redeemed" can fall away. Me too Lisa. I need Him more and more everyday and without Him I have nothing. I pray you keep pressing on in the faith and even in the fire - He's still there. The last 3 years of my life has shown that He is God, He is faithful, and even when it's dark? Please, please keeping on this subject. So important and I thank you. You know your history. I know of 2 people that committed suicide after listening to debates on Calvanism at top universities by famous calvanist. There could be a lot more suicides because as of March I myself was number 3 but made it and involuntarily was committed to a terrible mental ward in pouquoson/ Williamsburg where women and men were all mixed on same ward across small halls and rooms next to each other. I was ordered and not allowed to were a bra. Since them I am very close to God, repented, studied and believed what I once believed in ( the opposite of free- will) and pastors made me question my beliefs and believe in Calvanism which made me a feel like a robot with no purpose in this world and I just waited for hell because I would once in awhile doubt my faith thinking I wasn't chosen probably. This is the first and only time I have ever shared my story but your preaching can save souls.

How often do you hear people say “God loves everyone” or “God hates the sin but not the sinner” or “We are all children of God?” Well guess what, none of them are scriptural and they are all simply lies. God never said those things in scripture! You can either choose to follow God and His commands and be His child or you can choose to live in sin and do evil. If you chose to live in sin then you are choosing to be a child of the devil which then proves that not everyone is a child of God. “Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. Because of their misguided beliefs about scripture they have chosen to follow lies that were fabricated by the devil. For example, most believers have no idea of what it even means to be born again. Most foolishly believe that once they receive the Holy Spirit they are now born again and that is simply a lie that was concocted by the devil. Just look at the delusional once saved always saved crowd. They definitely will perish in their sin. They foolishly believe that they are born again and that it is impossible for them to ever lose their salvation. Some will even boast that they are “already saved” even though there is not one scripture that even relates that kind of wayward thinking. Scripture simply relates what we need to do and believe so that we “will be saved.” They are a prime example of a true child of the devil since they have twisted the scriptures to justify their ignorant and evil beliefs. “Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3:14-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Please keep teaching this brother it needs to be taught the once saved always saved teaching is everywhere Jesus said in these last days there would be great deception and that is a teaching that will take people away from the truth I have been debating this for years and people literally will get angry that call themselves Christians that you believe that the one saved always saved teaching is heretical thank you for being Brave and Bold ...all the glory to God

The doctrine Jesus taught was eternal life in him ....see verse’s John 3:15,16 , John 6:40, 47. And it’s in the present tense... it is not temporary life based on your 50/ 50 actions that complete Jesus work on the cross ... salvation is a gift Romans 6:23 , Ephesians 2:8-9. You either believe Christ or you do not. This preacher does not.

This beautiful scripture is just one of many to show that our security IS indeed eternal, otherwise salvation would never be through grace by faith (Ephesians 2,8-9), but through works. The truth is: We are saved by grace, and we can function as believers only through grace, NOT through the Law (which is not even given to gentile believers, the body of Christ). And the Apostle Paul repeats that over and over again in the book of Romans. God bless you, sister.

First of all, the “works” Ephesians is talking about are “works of obligation” as explained here in Romans 4:4: “Now to the one who ⭐️WORKS, wages are not credited as a gift but as an ⭐️OBLIGATION.” In other words, what Ephesians is ACTUALLY saying is this: “8For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not as a result of ⭐️WORKS OF OBLIGATION⭐️, so that no one may boast.” This means that “works of obligation” are not part of the salvation formula. What IS part of the salvation formula is GOOD WORKS: (Romans 2:6-7) “6who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS 👉DEEDS: 7to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, 👉eternal life; “ Therefore we are saved by grace, through faith, APART from “works of obligation”-but NOT apart from GOOD WORKS.

I’m so thankful for these teachings, Pastor Joe. When I was a new believer, I had such a difficult time understanding the scriptures through the lense of OSAS, ut felt like I was being proud to disagree with my pastor in favor of conditional security. Eventually, I was so tormented by guilt over the notion that I was wrestling with the scriptures that I had to make my disagreement with him and embrace the obvious truth. Reading through the lense of conditional security has opened the scriptures to me so much. It’s such a relief to read God’s word and be able to make sense of it. Tonight I am being given the chance to present my arguments for conditional security at my new church. Without going through the word with a fine-toothed comb, I already have 103 passages in the NT that speak to this truth. So much testimony of this doctrine cannot easily be explained away. I pray God will help me speak well and that He continue to bless your lips also. I will always be thankful for the work our Lord has done through the ministry He has given to you. Praise His name forever!

One thing I've noticed about OSASers is that they read the Bible in very weird ways..They have to ignore so much of the Bible to sleep at night..They would have to spend so much time explaining away scriptures and twisting scriptures that it's almost like it's a profession of just flat out lying daily..You literally have to make up thing and twist everything in the Bible to be an OSASer...It would be so much easier just to read the Bible and don't explain it..Just read it for what it actually says..Not interpreter..No fairy dust..No blackboard with shapes and colors .Just read it..word for word...And take it as it is written...He who endures shall be saved...

@@jimmyray5524 No one can pluck you out of his hand..But that doesn't mean you can't walk out of his hand or choose to leave his hand..The Bible tells you this over and over..When Jesus Says I Am the Vine..Well you have to be connected to the Vine to receive the life..The Jesus goes on to say that whoever doesn't produce fruit gets cut off from the vine ...But that means that had to have been first on the vine with the life...I mean think about it with a Logical mind..If OSAS is true...Then All of Paul's letters are pointless..There is no need for any of Paul's writings...Also .You should go ahead and ignore the passages where Jesus says To be holy and to obey his commandments which was actually alot more than 2 commandments..You really have to ignore alot and heres why...Let's say you are saved..And you believe in that...Well do you live in sin? If you said yes..Jesus says you are a child of the devil...If you disobey The commandments of Jesus Christ well according to Jesus Christ that means you do not love him...I can go on and on...Or we should just throw away the entire Book of James..Because James is telling you through the entire book that faith without works is dead...It is more than a belief in Jesus my friend..Even the demons believe and tremble..When in all reality..Most Christians don't tremble even though the Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the begining on Wisdom...I can go on and on...You would literally have to remove the entire bible except like a few passages if you wanted to be secure in your own beliefs..Noah's Ark on had 8 people on it ..Sodom And Gamorrah got destroyed and only one Family got out alive ...Jesus said Few few few few few ..He preached a Narrow Gate and a Narrow Way..And as soon as you OSASers get that the sooner you will get a true conversion experience..Billions of Christians won't be saved...That isn't Biblical ..Is sounds good..But if you think that even Hundreds of millions will be saved...That's why you aren't saved..Because you just don't understand yet..You cannot live in sin and inherit the kingdom of God..You cannot Eat from the Lord's table and the devil's table .You cannot drink from the Lord's cup and the cup of demon's..You can't have one foot in the church and one in the world..There is no neutrality..Being neutral is being Luke warm..And God spits an entire Church out for being Luke warm in Revelations..Paul trembled in fear of God...And the Apostles feared God..You would do well to fear God..Because if you feel like you have arrived..Well that proves you aren't saved..

People take this out of context in order to tell people that they can lose their salvation. Jesus said "I NEVER knew you", he never said I once knew you but now I don't. Some people were just never saved to begin with.

Hello Kitty, you are confusing ABIDING in the faith with working for one's salvation. They are not the same. Abiding means that you are consciously trusting Christ for your salvation and the FRUIT OF YOUR LIFE is evidence of that faith. The faith comes FIRST and the fruit of that faith is the effective evidence of that said faith. The argument isn't "you have to do these things to be saved," it is BECAUSE you are saved you are capable to do these (righteous) things. I deliberately chose the word "capable" because the believer still has a choice. So, if one is not producing righteous fruit (drunkenness, fornication, etc.) where is the evidence that the individual is TRULY trusting in Christ? He has told us we can overcome all things in Him. Once again, FAITH proceeds good works but the lack of good works does leave one to wonder if the faith is genuine. What Schimmel is asking people to do is "consider if they are in the faith" and if not to rectify that so their FAITH may be evidenced with good works. Chris Stevens, I'm not going to debate what number Schimmel should tip the scale at. I can tell you this, I was a competitive sprinter when in school, I have played football with substantially sized Joe Schimmel and the man is fast . Really F-A-S-T. One can not be out of shape and that quick.

@@AlexAlex-ij3mz Read the verse again please. Anyone who "BELIEVES" presents tense. Thus the individual needs to continue believing/keep on believing. That person "HAS" eternal life. Present tense again. Doesn't mean they ALWAYS have it, but only as long as they continue to believe (abide in Christ).

at 5:22 you are talking about Arthur Pink. If he teaches that God is bluffing, telling us something that He knows to be not true, then he is denying what God said about Himself "from Whom no lie flows", the Holy Spirit being named as "the Spirit of Truth", Satan being called out as "the father of lies". Essentially, he is calling God a liar and saying God practices the deceit we are told to put away/have nothing to do with. It's not just frustrating, it's blatant blasphemy.

Brothers and sisters, I need some advice. I have been to many churches over the years it is hard to find a church like Joes where i live, I have recently tried a Calvinist Church even though i disagree with them on so many fronts i find they preach better then any church i have been too yet. However i do have my concerns, I think it is better to go have fellowship even though i disagree with them as long as they are not directly teaching these hardcore calvinistic views i think its better then no fellowship at all. I am on Guard always, so i am very careful they dont go to far into the calvinistic stuff so far they seem very good despite our differences. Yes I am aware of how bad Calvinism can be, but so far they seem ok I think we can have some differences and still get along they were the only Church that stayed open during Covid here that would welcome us in. I am playing it by ear so far they have been sound although i disagree with their confession of faith i think ita been good for me ti have fellowship. Thanks, God bless you

@Titanium Zone not all calvinists are dark, this church welcomed me in when all others had shut their doors. I understand where your coming , many calvinist baptist churches have actually been leading the charge here in Canada despite my differences they are my bretheren we all believe in Jesus and he is Gods son holy trinity they gave been sound so far i appreciate your warnings calvinism can be dangerous

@@j-rad2613 This is a difficult situation. I believe in eternal security. I still find it hard to find a church that is not Calvinist. The Arminian position I find just as bad. The subject is very polerizing. The Arminian churches in my area are not good ether. The idea that you can be saved one day and not saved the next day and then saved again is extremely confusing and promotes legalism. I also believe Calvinism can promote legalism. The people I know who departed from the faith where never saved. Most believed false gospel. Easy believism. Where led in easy prayerism. Never true repentance from being convicted by the Holy Spirit and Holy Word

@@matthewkloskowski6991 Yes im aware of the Mcarthur like eterbal security teachings that those who fall away were never saved to begin with. This simply is not biblical, read the book of James. Also i think its first or 2nd peter that says "it would be better for you to never have learned truth then to learn the truth and turn from it" Matthew 24 Jesus also says many will fall away when persecuted, this is also explained in his parable of the sower when satan devours seeds not rooted deep when't persecution arises. Throughout all the new testement it is endure endure endure , OSAS is a myth a false and dangerous teaching. God blotted some of the jews out of his book and warns in revelation of anyone takes or adds to this book they will be blotted out of his book of life. You and other Callvinists like John say thats impossible but the bible says otherwise. I think they all have their flaws as these religons have strayed from the bible and some have been tainted by the catholic church and still carry some catholic practices . I am a Christian i belong to Christ, not a calvinist, armenian or lutheran i am a christian. However i think Luthers doctrine was alot more solid than calvinism, in my eyes Calvin may have been a heretic

@@j-rad2613 I agree with you about Calvin, I just struggle with finding a church that is not Calvinistic or Arminian. My concern with the idea that you can loose your salvation is: How do you know when you have lost your salvation? How do you know when you are saved if you have just lost your salvation? The individuals I know that don't believe in eternal security believe you can loose your salvation several times a day. I know this most likely does not represent your position. Or the other is that if you loose your salvation you can never get it back. This has been my experience with individuals who do not believe in eternal security. I am trying to have a consistent understanding of the position which is hard. I also don't believe if you are born again you can live a lifestyle of drunkenness', fornication, gluttony etc. A Christians life should be turning from sin, repenting and following Jesus. Not a life of surrendering to live in sin. I surrender to Jesus. I may choose to sin, but I should be convicted by Gods word and the Holy Spirit to not entertain that sin again in my life and fill it with something that glorifies God.

Read the King James version on that verse. The King James version says "without cause" which changes the whole context to that verse.

@@xintimidate lve only recently started reading the KJV translation and you are correct for it changes the context of Matthew 5:22 for it reads ( but whosoever shall say, Thou fool ,shall be in danger of hell fire .) Thanks for pointing that out ,ive been reading the niv translation for 26 years and it is a badly translated version of God's word compared to the KJV translation. Thank you and God bless you for your time and reply. ( And yes without cause it what is written which totally changes the context of the verse. )

NIV and ones like it are unfortunately the only ones that make it where I can understand the bible because of my learning disability. Reading and comprehension are already hard as it is for me and KJV makes it just that much harder.

@@xintimidate I know what you mean, when i became born again ( Glory to God) after i ended up in a clinic from drink and drugs abuse 26 years ago it was an niv translation that was left on my bedside locker i started reading, God knows what bible translation is best for you, i honestly believe that from my heart, as long as we are reading God's word and living in obedience is the main thing, whatever bible translation we read .

Christians abuse God's grace and "do whatever they want" all the time. All sin is doing "whatever we want." To say that some Christians do less of "whatever they want" than others is to totally miss what God's grace is. We sin once and break all of God's law. In God's eyes, all are unworthy sinners. We may think we deserve God's grace more than another but that's just our arrogance at work.

Even the guy who slept with his step mom in 1cor was brought back in 2cor. Social law demands you scare people, but the only way you will be rejected in the judgment of Christ is lack of love. People who dont suffer persecution and cannot forgive often doesnt understand unconditional grace, forgiveness, and love.

It requires repentance, he came back because he repented. We are all God’s children created by Him. God will always give you a chance to repent, that doesn’t mean that you’re always on track for heaven. Even in revelation God gives everyone a chance to repent, but if they don’t they’ll go to hell.

If you believe you can lose it then you are trusting in your own works to keep you saved. Paul said we can be sure of our salvation. The word says nothing can snatch us from his hand. There is not a single example of someone losing salvation in the Bible......... when you get born again you cannot be unborn. Just like a baby can’t be unborn. Once saved always saved IS the gospel. Your righteousness is as filthy rags. Good luck abiding in Christ. My faith is in what he did. Period. If you are truly born again you are not going to live “anyway you want”. If you do not believe his blood was enough, then you are an unbeliever...... good luck living “holy” and keeping the law.

Once your born again you never have to be re-born you can only be saved once, you have salvation. Therefore, the issue isn't about how to obtain salvation (which is obtained only by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot do works to earn your salvation) the context is about can you lose it. It's not about can man take it away from you, or can satan take it away from you, or can a demon take it away from you, no, they cannot. If they could they most certainly would. The promise that no man can pluck you out of the Father's hand is a wonderful promise and is true. No man can take away your salvation. So once again, the issue is, can you lose salvation yourself not about how to maintain or obtain salvation. The scripture tells us you can be saved and lose your salvation by denying Christ. Matthew 26:75 tells us about Peter denying Christ three times. Previously in Matthew 10:33 Christ talks about if you deny Me, I will deny you unto the Father. Hebrews 6:4-6 talks about falling away, and having to be renewed unto repentance. In Revelation 3:16 talks about being lukewarm and to repent or you will be spewed out of his mouth. Luke 12:44-46 talks about a saved servant who knows the Lord but says in his heart the Lord delays his coming, and his portion is put with the unbelievers. 1 Corinthians 10:12 commands to stand fast or you will fall from Grace. Adam and Eve were perfect and fell from Grace. 2 Peter 2:21 talks about people being enlightened and then turning away from the Holy commandment. There are many more scriptures, but I'll close with John 14:15, where Christ states that if you love Him you will keep His commandments. He's not talking about maintaining your salvation, but obedience. God doesn't really ask much of us except a little obedience. He paid the price at the cross once and for all. Once your born again, you don't ever become unborn or unsaved, but you can fall away at your own free will to reject Christ even after being saved. You must repent when this happens because if you die in this state you will go to hell. Peter was an example of being saved and denying Christ later. He also repented. So you have to be careful not to confuse the matter of how to obtain salvation with losing salvation. Peace & Grace unto you.

It's up to us if seed grows or not, that's our responsibility and up to us if after seed takes root if it continues to grow or do we let it die. Salvation is a free gift true but it's up to us if we receive it and keep it. The prodigal son walked away from his inheritance, we have free will and can do same thing. Osas is exactly what Satan taught, go ahead eat you won't surely die. His strategy hasn't changed he just has people helping him and some don't even realize it. That's deception

how can you make yourself ready to get into heaven if we can never fully stop sinning? the rapture is the promise of our salvation and it cannot me earned. if you believe and trust in Jesus, you will be raptured. it is not something you earn by “making yourself ready”. we shouldn’t be teaching others to look to themselves to receive salvation bc Christ FINISHED the work on the cross, meaning that no other works should be added to make it complete. this message is teaching a works based salvation and it’s unbiblical. by looking to yourself for righteousness, you become self righteous which means you aren’t fully trusting on Jesus. He wants us to have full security in our salvation which only comes by fully trusting on Him, yourself excluded. that’s not to say that we should still sin bc the Holy spirit will grieve when you do, and God will discipline you and you will lose reward in heaven but you works do not prevent you from getting there. “for by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God it is not from works, so that no one can boast” Ephesians 2:8-9 “and do not grieve the Holy spirit, whereby we are sealed for the day of redemption” Ephesians 4:30 “in him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom you also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of your inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of his glory” Ephesians 1:13-14 “if we say, ‘we have no sin’ we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” 1 John 1:8 “therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God and our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1 “but now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. but to him who does not work believes on him who justifies the ungodly,, his faith is accounted for righteousness” Romans 4:4 & 5 “you have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace” Galatians 5:4 we should be teaching people to completely depend on Christ to be saved bc our righteousness will never be good enough “but we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags...” Isaiah 64:6 “and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith” Philippians 3:9 God bless you all. i hope you take heed to the scripture and rest in God’s promise.

allee - You share a lot of wonderful verses but if I may, I would like to point out a few things for your consideration. Now, if you already know it all and don't care what the rest of scripture says, you can stop here and not waste your time on what I have to say. 1st - (delete) 2nd - (delete) - I decided to delete the first two. 3rd - You said, " Christ FINISHED the work on the cross, meaning that no other works should be added to make it complete." This is not exactly correct. And this is where people who believe in OSAS make their biggest mistake. Now before you brand me a heretic and dismiss the rest of what I have to say, please hear me out. There is some truth in what you said but it must be qualified. James points out that we are justified by works and not faith alone. This is where most of the confusion comes in. Your statement is correct if you would qualify it by saying that no works "of the law" should be added to make it complete. That is absolutely true. The works James is referring to are not works of the law. When he said Abraham was justified by his works, it was his works of faith. It was by faith that he offered his son on the altar. see Heb 11:17 Works of faith (as opposed to works of the law) are absolutely necessary or you would have a dead faith that cannot save. 4th - Paul instructs us in Philippians to "work out our own salvation." He aslo says this, "for it is God who works in us to will and to act according to his good pleasure." This is completely neglected by the OSAS crowd because in their mind, to work out your salvation is adding to the finished work of Christ. Yet we are commanded to do so. It is a process called sanctification. The scriptures teach both a positional and a progressive sanctification. I will not go into all that but progressive sanctification is required because w/o holiness, no one will see the Lord. I might also point out that those two statements show that WE have a responsibility (to work out our salvation) and God has a responsibility (to work in us). When we work in cooperation, we grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. If we try to work out our salvation w/o God's help, we are guilty of self righteousness. See Gal 3:1-3 Also, if we only let God work in us and do no work of our own, we are equally in error and are in danger of having a dead faith. 5th - please understand that all of our working out of our salvation or efforts at sanctification do not earn us any right to boast. We are only unworthy servants who are only doing our duty - duty which God requires. If you would like further clarification, let me know. I would be glad to share.
