Holy crap...i am fighting tears. This hits home. I have had so many people call me crazy and leave me when i needed the help the most. When i felt like i couldnt fix myself no matter how hard i tried to. The darkness swallowed me and i felt so alone and helpless. Five finger death punch you are amazing. You have saved me many times and once again you drop this song at the perfect time.

This struck me the first time I heard this on a radio. I've been a loner for so many years because of everyone around me lying to me or betraying me over so long, and my own family ignoring or mistreating me constantly. I ruined several relationships, and even left many scars on my most cherished one. My life has gone to hell and has gotten worse since, and I've felt like this song sums all my feelings up.

House of the rising sun, blue on black and this all have that old Western vibe to me. I just picture outlaws saloons and dirt roads everywhere

I like there’s something for everyone on this album. There’s songs like these, then there’s the brutal, screaming song Bottom of the Top. I never really used to give this band that much of a thought, thinking “meh, they’re just another metal band”. But they’re so much more than that imo. Love this band a lot.
