Thanks to everyone for your comments. No, we don't have any original material. We aren't that talented, unfortunately. As far as the key change goes, I don't think we really did it intentionally. Ben (the guitarist) learned the song by ear and he was working off of the acoustic version on the album which has two guitars. It's possible he did it to match my vocals as well as to compensate for the lack of the second guitar and bass. Frankly, I'm sort of ignorant since the only instruments I play are brass and I don't really understand the complexities of stringed instruments. Also, I agree about fuck mics. Not literally, though. :)

I sent your message to the guy playing guitar. He mostly plays by ear and I'm not certain he knows how to write tabs. He learned this pretty much overnight after I sent him the acoustic album version. We really only practiced it a few times. I'll see what I can do thought.
