Hey Gang, let me know how often you’ve used Carom shots in the past and if you’re going to try to get more of them into your game.

I use caroms almost every game either to make my object ball and break out groups or frozen balls 8 ball 9 ball etc great videos and glad someone is finally blunt and upfront about how and why we miss shots

I always look for carom shot possibilities - especially if I've gotten a poor leave (all too often) and am forced to be "creative."

I respect the thousands of hours of practice that went into making these shots look so effortless to demonstrate. Seriously!

Use them whenever needed. You can't be a top level player without them in your arsenal. Generally I think caroms are easier than billiards to make balls, however, routinely breaking clusters/tied up balls with the cue ball.

So there is a shot i hear alot from Jeremy Jones when hes commentating, and i don't know just exactly what it is much less how to execute it. Something calling "cinch" the ball. Im pretty sure i have the concept down where the objective is to kill the momentum, but not sure exactly how to do it exactly

I use that side pocket carom quite frequently, I try to incorporate all of your lessons into my game. As always, another great video. I feel the improvement even if my fargorate doesn't show it yet. 377

Hey Brian, I don't know if you've done a video on breakout shots, but do you know of a good drill that you can use to practice breakouts? That's the biggest problem with my game right now, is solving a problem with a breakout. I can usually only get a good breakout, even after identifying my breakout ball, about 30% of the time. I've gotten really good at identifying problems and how to get them out, it's just a matter of execution.

Yes, I have a number of videos on breaking up clusters and I will be making an updated version soon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9f7NEk9lKcI.htmlsi=FgNtIPJdtzaYNeq6

On you last scenario do you have to call kisses on a shot as you kissed/caromed off the six?
@FXBilliards
@FXBilliards 10 месяцев назад
It depends on where you’re playing. It’s important to ask the rule. Most pro events you just announced the ball in the pocket you’re shooting it. In.

Players who don't attempt breakouts normally never see the last ball.
