I like how HGT completely cut out the part where Markiplier said he enjoyed the games and is actually intrigued by the story, and was only saying that there shouldn't be a fourth because there's no need for one; the children are free and the murderer is dead. But no since HGT was like "lol i'll just keep throwing insults at the game because comedy" he couldn't include that part because that would go against his opinion :3

I really don't get the fascination with this game, I'll admit, I thought the game was pretty spooky and real cool when the first one came out and I did watch Markiplier's play-through's on it, but I don't get the whole 'making these demonic torn apart animatronics into cute creature and x-rated people' and the people who are absolutely obsessed with the game. I guess every fan base has that, I just.. I don't understand.

Here's the irony here. Scott came out with something and Smosh is claiming that its tired, overdone and the only reason he's doing it is because his fans want him to and he's taking advantage of it. Yet Smosh themselves are making trailers of a game franchise they CLEARLY do not like and that many are tired of seeing them do but the only reason behind it is because their audience wants them to. This is called hypocrisy, people.

The only reason I dislike these games is because people get absurd amounts of views for screaming at a game that becomes not scary after about an hour. Everything else is fine

We all know Markiplier likes the franchise as a whole through his videos, he looks up things outside of the game because he is interested it (He even mentions Game Theory in one of his videos, proving that he watched one of their FNAF videos). We all should know that we shouldn't take this seriously to heart because we know that out of all the people, Markiplier would be the last person to say anything bad about the series. This display of how people are tired of it is suppose to be ironic because out of all the people they decided to showcase was Markiplier, the one who we all know for a fact likes the franchise.

That still leaves us with questions like... Who is this purple guy? A maniac that likes to kill children and is really bad at operating robotic suits. Who is golden freddy? The suit that the purple guy used to murder five children, and was probably also possessed. Who is the balloon boy? A random thing that Scott threw into the second game to scare people more. Why did no one see the corpse? That is actually really good question. Maybe phone dude is psychotic? Why can't you hear the robot walking around? It's a hallucination. Have the cops not noticed that every security guard dies? The only security guard to die was the phone guy. Why would a security guard start working before any animatronics? To test out the systems, and make more money. Who would make, sell, or buy these stupidly dangerous costumes? People in a horror game universe. Why are there security cameras in the vents? You got me. Why would a horror attraction be so airtight it can run out of oxygen? Lack of oxygen is scary. Why does lack of oxygen make jump scares? Because that's what the security guard is constantly worried about. I'm done.

For me, this game was the true ending to the franchise, and an extremely well done ending to a trilogy of great games. The others aren't bad, but for me, aren't as memorable as the first three, barring Sister Location.

I find it hilarious how nobody criticizes pokemon games (soulsilver, diamond, etc) for just being reskins of the predecessor but everyone claims five nights at freddy's 1-3 retain the exact same mechanics

1. The game actually IS different this time around, in that the new gameplay switched the genre from generic Horror to Strategy/Horror. 2. Every one of those comments you took from Markiplier were taken out of context. He said he hoped that this was the last game because he felt that the ending was a perfect ending for the trilogy as a whole. I'm fed up with you passing your opinions off as general consensus in these Honest Game Trailers. You've done it very blatantly for this trilogy in particular, but it's true of a lot of other game trailers, too. Giving an honest opinion about a game isn't particularly entertaining; the trailer for Portal/Portal 2 wasn't very funny because there was barely any substance in it, just a bit of praise/jeering. I know that all Honest Trailers, movie or game, require the use of one's own opinion to be funny/"Honest", but when a trailer just becomes a series of criticisms/hate/praise in the vague form of a "trailer," it really isn't very funny.
