I like when he was asked to compare himself as sherlock with Robert Downey Jr. He didn't just outright say he was better he didn't put anyone down, because he is so freakin adorable and he has class. Although I prefer him as Sherlock ;)
"Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes or Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes..." is a subtle reminder to lazy journalists that the literary character has been portrayed onscreen since the 1900 silent film "Sherlock Holmes baffled" therefore making the argument of who is the better Sherlock: Cumberbatch or Downey Jr null and void.
