Well to be fair you can't say if that's a truth or a lie because it was left ambiguous, so it's up to personal opinion/taste/preference I like to think it was a lie tho and they did go to that "somewhere else"

Unfortunately that means that by the end I was just angry at Jon for not trusting his bf or Georgie and instead going off to become gOd mY GOODNESS

@@drownedtrashrat3501 Well, the way I see it, it's not that Jon didn't trust them. It's that he couldn't abide by the decision his friends made and decided to force a different outcome. It was sneaky of him, but I find I sympathize with his point of view. The Fears brought so much evil and suffering to the world and realising them onto countless other universes just to save your own, it's selfish, although also not. Jon's alternative wasn't better or worse. It was a different answer to an impossible moral dilemma. That's one of the amazing things about tma. It's a compelling story without a moral conclusion. Just about everyone we root for has blood on their hands, in the end.
