Thanks for the video. I had no idea there was a paper path cover. Solved my problem immediately by removing it and got the jammed paper I couldn't find
Absolutely brilliant! I’m so glad I watched this, I could see the trapped/torn papering the inside but never even thought to pull the tray out. There it was. Many thanks 🙏🏾
I am 93 years old. My computer got jammed this morning and I just couldn't release the paper. I suddenly remembered YOU TUBE and in five minute I was cleared and printing. Many thanks. This is an amazing service.

Thank you so much! At age 72, wish I would have had more common sense to search for a video on how to clear a paper jam; I could have spared myelf a lot of self-inflicted hand injuries!

in the video is says "when possible move the ink from side to side. It doesn't say what to do when it isn't possible or how to help it move I'm sort of suspecting there is paper stuck behind the ink cartridge or the error is being caused by it. I've done all the other suggestions and cannot find a jam and confirmed everything is moving as it should. unplugged and plugged back in to reboot. What do I do to get the ink cartridge to move?

The video, as excellent and complete as it is, does not recognize and fix another difficult issue that I was able to sole ONLY by carefully noting of something in the video that is not mentioned but turns out to be important. I was being driven mad by my 8020 printer spewing out 5, 6, 10 or more blank pages to print one short message - and even then, getting a paper jam. There were times when, in order to stop the printer from rolling out one blank page at a time, over and over, ignoring attempts to stop that using the printer control panel or in the desktop printer controls, I had to unplug the printer. After plugging it back in again, the roll out of blank pages resumed. The cure? Note in the video that the paper tray is NOT fully inserted to be flush with the front of the printer body. There's a button inside the tray that collapses ad/or extends the length of the papepr tray so that when reinserted into the printer, it sticks out as shown in the video. Paper should be loaded into the tray so that the edge of the stack closest to you is flush with the part of the tray closest to you, not all the way to the front inside the printer. Do that and the printer now uses only as many pages as the document requires. No more blank pages. BTW - you may ask how to install the output tray so it snaps in on both sides evenly and flat onto of the paper tray? ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
Amazing easy and well explained !!- my problem is finding the parts to the 94-HP office jet 8020, missing output tray- any help would be appreciated. Thank you in Advance
The cartdrige won't slide to check that part. I cleaned everything you said in the video and still doesn't work. I'm so frustrated because it's almost new.

How about a load paper error with 8025? The firmware is updated, paper is loaded, I removed cartridges and put them back in after plugging the cord back into the wall and updated it. Still gives load paper error

Unfortunately, the video does not show what to do when the white plastic roller cover under the blue handled panel is out of place/probably broken tab?? I barely got a 100 pages out of this printer and its useless after a jam.
I just bought the 8030e model and I need to know how to scan multiple documents. It doesn't allow me to feed the paper in the top to scan. I have to open the top and scan each paper one by one. What am I missing?
+disneymama78 Click the Plus sign () on the left side of the window to scan additional pages. If you are not using an ADF, you will need to load the next page of the document onto the scanner glass to add each additional page. 4. Click Save to capture the scanned file but leave HP Scan open.

Don’t force the ink cart if it refuses to move because it can break, just go to that blue cover and try to lift it up,you will surely get jammed paper there. The thing can’t be telling you jammed paper without anything jammed.I did my own too,the ink cart wasn’t moving,it was trapped on the right corner but I just opened the blue cover and I found the jammed paper and I removed everything everything, and that’s it.So easy to remove.
+Yameshia Philostin Yes, the HP 8720 printer can print onto card stock, as can 99% of past and present HP printers. The card stock must be place into the paper tray. ... Some HP printers can do this, but in some the paper must be removed, and then ONLY the card stock inserted.
@@HPSupport that's not working...I've even called you guys and the rep said my printer cannot print on cardstock.....I will have to return this printer and get another. Because I'm a teacher I need to print on different kinds of paper so I need a printer that can do that

I did all the steps and the error still comes up. My printer is out of warranty. Paid too much money for this HP printer for it not to work. The error will not go away. It was a waste of money purchasing a HP printer. Will never purchase another one. Don't have money to service a printer. Can't set up wireless printer, the lights start flashing and the monitor turns blue with some letter and number. These printers are too expensive to have these types of error. Now my printer does not work and have to buy a new one, waste of over $200. Once the warranty expired all the problems started. The quality control need to be better. Warning to others do not purchase a HP printer.
I can tell you,it’s a very good product.Maybe many hands are operating it and some people may not be patient enough. All these things are so sensitive but if you handle them with care, you will enjoy them,I can tell you.
Lilly, I had the same issue. There was no paper jammed and nothing in the video worked to get rid of the error message. I actually punched it and the error went away LOL!!
mine is just telling me paper jam and there is none.. what a garbage product.. this thing might have printed 1 pack of paper in its life and its broken.
