Be careful with the UI edition, but if you have a VPN with access to Chinese IP address, this may be an alternative option. I managed to apply a ICBC debit card in China, as a foreigner, how can I transfer funds from my foreign bank account into my ICBC Chinese bank card?

Not possible as a foreigner. However, to solve your problem partially, use a platform like wise, western union, panda remit to send CNY to a CHINESE CITIZEN alipay account with your foreign bank card funds. Then ask that citizen to send you the money once it hits their account. Preferably somebody you trust.

I’m having a problem, when I apply for tour card it reject me the card, I don’t know what I do wrong? Why they reject? My passaport and everything is okay

It could either be your bank rejected or them rejecting. To confirm chat with their customer service on alipay and ask your bank to allow the transaction to occur. Worst case, try another visa or Mastercard.

@@jenywilliams663 if they are rejecting your application, it's probably because your passport info doesn't match the info you put in the system. Make sure the selfie is exactly as they want it, same with your passport page and the admin details to match exactly as it is on your passport. You can also email them to follow up

Cos I live in United states my debit card is from united states but my passaport is from Argentina, I’m argentina, I do have US ID but I’m not a citizen so I don’t have US passport, so for the tourcard I added my passaport info with my argentina address, it’s probably that? But I don’t know what to do because when I added my US address they reject it anyway

@jenywilliams663 I think that is your issue then. Your passport country, phone number and bank card must be from the same country for it to verify properly.

Find a friend or family member that has the country listed or unfortunately, unofficial channels as Nigeria is a tough place to verify on alot of platforms.

Yeah, cross border payments not allowed for foreigners and they stopped with Chinese a long time ago. Need to ask a Chinese citizen to send money to your via their Chinese bank account. Or use channels like swapsy or other 3rd party. If you legally work in China, you can try wise or skyremmit.

Did you try the hotline during chinese hours? That's what I would do. When you open the tourcard, it should automatically link to your alipay

@MIK-di9no you can call their international hotline by putting in the Chinese area code. Have you tried that? Your options seem limited but that is the fastest way in my opinion

Can only do so after you open Alipay troucard account, and note that this topup cannot be sent to individuals but only to merchants on alipay.
