I need one but does it interfere with sound when vlogging, I don’t want to record a video with a buzz like a hydro room , also I’ve already got a tripod and iPhone clamp i need this in a MagSafe product
@@michaelkay4132 If you are using a external mic like a clip-on it will not pick up the fan sound. If you are using the phone's mic, it will probably pick up that sound. Here's a link to cooling fans that attach to your phone that's MagSafe compatible. amzn.to/3BBVb97
@@HumanEncoded I’m using shure MV88 with a knob on it and I also use a joby , I can’t afford one bit of sound . The mv88 plugs into the actual phone lighting . The joby I does not I may have to use the joby .
@@michaelkay4132 I see what you saying. I don't think any cooling fan will be silent. Mine isn't loud at all but if your mic is attached to your phone it will pick up that fan sound. Hopefully you'll be able to find the ideal setup that works for you Michael. 🤞🏽
@@HumanEncoded yeh the gorilla tripod I can set up the actual mic 20cm Away towards me and away and it should be ok I’ll Also put a muff over it . Also what I will try is cooking it down immediately after filming if that does not work . 10 minutes after I record for a hour and it should cool it down enough

@@HumanEncoded Okay. Fair enough.In your video, you actually read the temperature with a heat detector and that shows with proof that it works. Maybe other products on Amazon won't get the same result. Thanks!
yes, that was the reason I purchased this. My phone would overheat while I was recording in 4K. I just clipped the fan to my phone, then clipped that to my tripod clip. You will prob need an external mic b/c the phone's mic may pick up the sound of the fan.
Oh just thought about this... if your case is thick in the back (like a Outtabox) it won't be able to cool your phone b/c it cools from the back. You can take your case off or get a thinner case if needed. Hope this helps🤞🏽
