Fix for My Rain 5G Connection Not Working 2023

Wow, I thought I was the only one experiencing this issue but I guess not. It stopped for me after a few days though and the technician from rain said maybe it's because my sim was connected to a tower nearby that is having a problem with power or something like that and it restarts every hours on the clock. Then I changed my setting back to automatic again after another technician came to have a look at it and said that setting it on 5G only is also not a good idea. And for the most part it worked for a couple months. But about 3 days ago it started doing this again out of nowhere, and then stopped after 2 days. So I really don't know what's going on with rain or why these things are happening to its network but at this point my honest advice to anyone thinking of taking up the network is: don't take it thinking that it is a 1 connection solution. And be ready to have problems that you or the technician themselves are sometimes not able to fix. If you are ready for that and you are willing to take a chance because of the price and by all means, otherwise don't use rain.

Hi, you need to make sure you are connected to the wifi network first, and then you enter the default IP address you can find in the back of the router, then using the default password on the router as well, you will be able to login and change settings to the router.

@@Fylosofy_ I hate it here, bro. I can't seem to get this ZTE to work. I've tried so many fixes. Hopefully it's better tomorrow but it messed up my flow. 5G-SA doesn't even exist on this ZTE at the moment. Honestly, I never complain about rain because when it's working just fine, it's worth every cent but when it starts acting up... 🤦🏾‍♂️

You're right when you say when it works it works but when it starts acting up ...... It's the lost frustrating thing ever because you don't even have data to complain about them then. Lol. But that is why I just recieve the routers they give but never actually use them. I got a Huawei B618 that I got years ago that I keep using because it's just that much more user friendly than ZTE. But I think with ZTE, the settlings using the IP address is better than using the app.

Seems like I've got a better connection but there's still a blue light on the "network" section of the router. I use ChatGPT, Bard, etc. a lot and I'm skeptical about running prompts because the last thing I need is some error message just because the network is terrible. This should be an interesting Friday. So you don't use a website. Just type the IP address on the bottom of your router in the address bar.

You should find that password at the bottom of your router. If you are using a router thar someone else has already used and might have changed the password, then you need to reset the router and the password will reset back to the original default password under the router.

There is always a small button that looks a bit hidden on every router which you might need a small pin to push to reset. If you tell me which manufacturer and model router you using I might be able to tell you where that button is.

Lol I also want to cancel but I needed it to work more than it needed me so I had to just stick it out and wait for the technicians to come out and fix it.

I also work from home sometimes and that's why I needed it to work. So I'm glad it was sorted out eventually.

Send your complaint to Mybroadband instead of trying to get a hold of them directly. Whoever the person is incahrge of their handle on mybroadband is doing their job.

I also thought the same but the price is somewhat on par with it's delivery. If you know how to take advantage of it then you can benefit compare to the alternatives out there.
