Prinz Eugen, the Tier 7 Premium German Heavy Cruiser remains one of the oldest premium ships in the game, coming out in April 2020. Unfortunately, she is getting left behind by her peers with the list of cruisers at the same tier getting buffs, increasing (Hipper, Martel, Mogami, Baltimore, Azuma, P. Bagration, Belfast 43', San Diego, Riga, Rochester, and Harbin). As far as gameplay goes, Prinz Eugen feels obsolete, with her sister ship, the Hipper, doing everything better.
Still though, Prinz Eugen remains a tanky cruiser with strong armor, boasting big HP, a strong torpedo armament, and powerful 203mm guns. Shes bred for brawling, when the situation calls for it, but is also a strong gun platform and can citadel enemy cruisers with ease.
