Man, I was trying to download Moonbase Alpha and I accidentally pressed another button in which canceled my installation to a required update to my computer to run Moonbase Alpha properly. Running the game as administrator was able to let me find the option to download the required update to run the game. Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Really found this helpful!
I’m trying to download apex legends but everytime I click “play” a little menu is popping up but closing instantly. The menu that is popping up is for me to download the game. But it literally closes instantly so I’m unable to play or download apex legends. Any fix to this ?? update ; i see a lot of people asking the fix to this, i dont exactly know what fixed mine but just woke up one day & it was all working.

Ty for the tip. I was having trouble with Spider man on my steam deck but the "Steam client > go to properties of problem game > manage > browse local files > Verify integrity of game files " fixed my issues.
YESSSS THANK YOU SO MUCH this was like my 21st tutorial and I had been trying everything for like 10 hours AND IT WORKED :D Edit: I am pretty sure I had downloaded a mod which had corrupted sm.
None of this worked. Steam won't open any game of mine. I've already tried reinstalling the games and they still won't work yet say they're running. Yet if I run task manager, ti doesn't show the game running.
so im having a weirdf issue my steam client won't launch with games, the game will launch but then asks for steam to be running it only happens if i use the game icons on the desktop if i launch from steam itself everything is fine

Very useful.. in my case the run as admin was the issue for some reason.. literally played the day before no problem, switched off and steam was failing the launch.. likely program seem intact. Again massive thanks 🎉

No way bro. I played this game hundreds of hours with my friend in California but I live in Oregon now and all I’ve wanted to do is play the skin. Good memories good times. Now I can do that and make more memories and good times thank you.
I can't open the Marvel Avengers. It worked fine in windows 10 but in win 11 it just show the curser loading sign and it just stops and nothing happens😢
I just downloaded Spider-Man Remastered and whenever I click "Play", it starts launching (goes to 100%) saying "Stop" but then it goes back to "Play" and the game doesn't launch. I tried restarting my computer, clearing cache, running as administrator, uninstalling steam and the game, managed the files but nothing is working.
I had an issue with Steam in which some games (Assassin's Creed Origins, Grand Theft Auto V) which wouldn't connect me to their servers when I tried launching the games from within Steam and after many different attempts to solve this issue, I thought of launching the games separetly from their launchers alone, without opening Steam, and it actually fixed my problem and now I can once again launch those games from within Steam. Now the more complicated issue I had was with Forza Horizon 5, which I also own on Steam and I don't have any launcher for that so I just went with my gut and went into its files location in my PC (on Steam Right Click on the game Manage > Browse Local Files), then from the folder I selected the .exe file or the Application icon that launches the game then Right Click on it and there was the option "Troubleshoot compatibility" and so I clicked that, I followed the steps and then I launched the game from there and it once again worked and now I can start the game from within Steam without any issue. Hope this might solve your problem if the solutions from the video didn't work as it didn't for me either.
Hello TroubleChute, I just want to say thank you for this Vid cause I was having problem with my Stellaris Game not starting, but after follow your Compatibility options chapter, it turns out my game had the "Run As Administrator" on. So after removing it, I was able to get my game to run again. So again, thank you for doing this vid, and I hope that the Algorithm be in your favour.
this issue was happening with Geometry Dash, i tried to use your strategies but it wont work. Even if i open an older version of the game i have downloaded (2.1), it wont open as well. I can only play it on mobile, which i dont want to play on
I'm really having issues with Serious Sam 4 , it won't even start up. When i click on the game, both on desktop icon and in Steam, it just shows the turning circle for a second and then that's it ... i've tried everything and i give up now. I have Windows 10.
Been struggling a lot. When I first added 8 more RAM, and finally had 16 RAM and could play high-end games, I had a really big issue I still have. I can't download some apps. My file explorer crashes, and then after 5 mins a pop-up opens up and says that I don't have permission to access that file. Some steam games just crash when I try to launch and its really annoying. I just want to play games normally. Also my task manager doesn't work. ( I wrote this before I did the things in the vid)
My game Empire Total War always crashes when i got to first free seconds of reloading even tho i installed the game and played it for 3 hours, well now i cant and i tried everything you did here and it still crashes... can you help?
None of these worked, I am playing stormworks BUT it doesn't load to the main menu, it only stays on the first loading screen, and I waited for a long time.
Currently Street fighter V champions edition is the game I cannot launch. Everything is up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, different drivers, cleared cache etc. the only game I’m having this issue with
Tabletop Simulator kept crashing on the loadup screen. So using "Disable fullscreen optimizations" under compatibility seemed to be the fix since it started working after that.
Ima try all of em cuz im trying to play an open beta for a game called synced and i cant find anything about the specific game cuz it thinks im having problems with SYNCING files but its just the game name So thx dude!

Nothing works... 609 hours of CSGO gone and 569 hours of WWE 2K22 gone and also all of my WWE 2K games. Do you think a factory reset will make it work?
Is anyone else getting “there was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product. Please contact customer support if you need help solving this problem “
Nothing here helped. Ubuntu 22.04 user here. Every game in my Steam library (the original at least) on my main SSD disk is playable, but as soon as I move them to my other drive HDD every game suddenly doesn't launch. Not one of them.
O have been trying Everything to Play Dead Space 2 on my PC but Nothing works. I have watched pretty much every video explaining what to do an nothing works. I need serious help. The game will not start and it goes to a black screen and immediately crashes. It doesn’t even get to any menu or anything. Just dies at a black screen.

Bought a new computer just a week ago for the sole purpose of playing one steam game and it won’t launch. I tried all of these things. Still nothing. It’s got more than enough ram and processing power. Ended up I just returned the computer and I’m giving up on steam.
the game i'm trying to play has ABSOLUTELY NO GUIDES AT ALL as it is very unpopular. I've tried everything, even wiped everything on my computer just to play it! I dont want to lose my 500+ hours of progress. HELP!
What if the blue screen of death shows up directly Opening the Steam app? I ran sfc/scannow nothing, i uninstalled the steam app and reinstalled it, doesn't work, updated windows, ran Malwarebytes and antivirus, nothing, deleted temp files, i did everything and the blue screen keeps showing when Steam launches, says is extracting package and installing updates and blue screen, kernel security check failure, I dunno how to fix this. :(
