Thanks a lot, this is the best video I could find on how to disassemble but also reassemble the mower back. I need to change the motherboard battery as the time and date resets randomly. Kudos!
I did the layout and installation by studying the on line videos Husqvarna had on the web ru-vid.comUgkx2KDztGvdU79XTmlqIMSUyPq8CjprGJOR also recommended it When I started the unit it stated it would take a few days to learn all the spots in the yard. So I thought it was just finding the areas till I noticed it was cutting. It is so quite you don't know it is cutting.
Thanks man. Your video saved my robot. I disassembled it and found the broken wire at the front sensor and replaced it. Now, the mower is working fine again. Great
It is always good to know how to repair. Although next time: you actually only need to unscrew the sensor (4 screws) and wiggle out the cable from the bottom… :) My question to you: I have to replace a cable and wonder what sort of cable it is.... It is not a copper cable. What did you use?
@@eblita3698 Hi there. I just jused one of the cables from my arduino-tinker-projects. But - just today - it broke again (after having it repaired two times already). I think i will have to replace the sensor completely now. I hope i'll be able to buy it somewhere..... And thanks for the hint with the sensor-Screws ;-)
Hi gsbox, -though next time: you actually only have to unscrew the 4 screws at the sensor and then wiggle the cable out from the bottom…. much easier. I have a question: will you tell me what kind of cable did you used? I see it is not a copper cable…..
Thanks for the video! My model is not exactly the same but I guess the procedure is similar for disassembly, in my case to be able to replace the front wheels which have detoriated quickly this year to the point of getting totally stuck. I have the WG796E model, replaced the front sensor last year without disassembling - there was enough slack in the cables to pull the contacts through the hole and unplug the old sensor and plug in the new one from the outside. It was difficult to get the seal perfectly in place for the new sensor and I will check this as well. Excellent instruction, especially regarding how to remove the height adjusting knob which would be almost impossible to guess!
Thank you very much for your video. I was very nervous at the thought of disassembling it. But with the help of your video I got the courage to do so, so thanks for the great guide.
Stort tack för instruktionen. Funkar klockrent!
My out of bounds error experience. First thanks for the video, sure helped getting it apart. Mine started one day about a month ago with the outside working area error. Reset it and it worked again. This went on for a couple days and then the error was permanent. Looked at the wiring harness to the front sensors and it did not look so good. Took it apart and removed the front sensor and charging assembly. I could not find any broken wires but I replaced it anyhow. While I was in there I replaced the lcd display since that had not been working right for awhile, Chinese characters or blank once it was on a few seconds. Put it back together but the same error, permanent out of boundary error, at least the display worked again normally. I think now wtf? I'm thinking maybe weak signal from the base station. Green light looked good, steady on green, flashed when I disconnected the wire, steady green when connected again. Then I decided to get a separate wire about 20m long and hooked it up instead of the permanent wire. Laid it on the ground in a big loop in the yard. Put Harry in the middle and no error and it worked like a champ, Again wtf? So I start thinking about the splices of wire I soldiered in to adjust the boundary several years ago, my wire has been in 6-7 years. Since it rained here a lot in August I'm thinking maybe one of these splices got wet through the heat shrink I used to insulate the wire and is grounding out the signal. Ripped all these places up and redid them, no luck. So now I get a box of wire and I ripped out all the original wire. One place where I pulled it up separated very easily. This spot was near where moles were digging and the wire ends looked chewed or scrapped from the moles, frayed. We have a lot of moles here in Germany and the mower keeps them out of the yard but they dig around the boundary. So it looks like they damaged the wire but not enough to cause the green led to flash but enough to cause the errors. After installing a totally new wire Harry is working just fine now. I bought my parts online at letmerepair-direct.de
Thank you for your video, thanks to you I was able to change the charging block which had a cut wire, thank you very much it helped me. my robot charges perfectly, but now it no longer wants to leave its base, it moves back 50 cm and stops then beeps constantly. I tried to start it outside its base and it's the same thing. maybe I made a mistake when going back up? the front right connector seems out of order, via the robot screen but the block is new!
I was actually able to repair my landroid by watching this video! Thank you so much Kenneth! I do have one problem though. I'm not able to turn the blade height knob to anything lower than 55mm. Did I mount it wrong? Thanks again :-)
Hi, nice to hear that my video has been a good guide for you. Yes, the height knob should work as usual so I'm afraid you have to re-do some of the steps, starting with de-mounting. I made the video a couple of years ago so I do not remember all details of how I did it but I remember that one has to be careful remounting the knob. Do under way tests of it's correct function during re-mounting.
Great video and great work !!! Can you tell me if there's a way to test/measure the functioning of the left and right sensors ? I'm not sure mine are working ok or not. Many thanks !!!!
Hi and thanks for your appreciation! Unfortunately I do not have any idea about how to test/measure the functioning. But if it begins to leave outside the electronic fence I guess it is a signal of them not working properly.
Bra jobbat, tack igen! :)
Just wanted to say: had a problem with Landroid after rinsing the wheels with water. The keyboard stopped working. Remedy: REMOVE the battery IMMEDIATELY so that no more electricity flows and wait until everything has dried up. Then we went again. Recommendation; be careful when rinsing, especially from below. The keyboard connector should not be adequately protected against water. I will look at it when the opportunity arises and seal it accordingly.
My keyboard has died (didn't rinse it with water, it just has keys that stopped working... One of which is part of the PIN). Did you end up replacing yours, and if yes, where did you buy it from?
You don’t need to disassemble the whole Mower! Just drag the rubber out of the bottom and the Plug Connection will follow out of the hole. You can simply unplug and have the Sensor unit free to work.
Thanks for this great job! But tell me please... What was the "strange things" that your robot did? Mine is slightly turning right and left just like when it find his boundary wire, but it does that in the middle of my garden, with no wire below it to be sensed by the sensor... Pretty crazy... 6 years of use.
@@KennethSteen Thanks my friend. I could fix the wire following your tips and mine worked fine since last time i wrote to you. Like a year. Yesterday it started to run in circles, like 3m diameter. I can see that one wheel is spinnig faster than other, but i don't know if it's a motor issue or circuitry issue. If you guess what may be happening, i'll gladly take your advice. Other than that, as soon as i fix it, i'll share it here, since you may face the same issue someday. Thanks!
@@dayangolanski1250 Hi, that is strange behaviour. I have not encountered that problem myself but I would first check that there is no dirt that hinders the wheel to spin.
hello, thank you for your video, first of all, someone gave it to me because it is broken. I would like to know where i can find the exact reference ? I see yours is the WG791E, where can i check which one is mine ?
Thank you for this video. It looks like there is a little space in the front corner(s) above the caster wheels. Do you think that their is enough room to place a gps tracker? Do you remember about how much space might be available? Thanks again.
Hello, great video. My Landroid stops with the error "elevation" I discover that it is the sensor on the side. The robot stops when the cover which has a magnet lifts from the metal part. Any idea what I could do to keep it going without stopping? Thanks
Your comment "make sure the pins holding the silver hatches are in their places" is confusing to me.. Whichs pins are they ? Are these the long round pins that hold the latches and the springs ? I also read something about the two metal parts that are in the frame needing to touch with some pins from the assembly ? Thank you so much !
Hmm, could it be so that one of the wheels are stuck...? Or could it be that the black cover is not remounted correctly. It might give the machine the signal that it has run into something and that it thereby thinks it is stuck.
@@KennethSteen Well, i have checked everything, even changed the trapped sensors. Magnets seems fine.. but still its trapped.. and the issue is that i cant reset by pushing 0. Its not working. The button is working, have tried it in the "date" section just to see if there is a problem with the keyboard.. but no. Im lost.
Hello. I liked a lot of your video. I think I have the same problem with my robot. I searched to buy the bundle of cables in question but unsuccessfully. Would you send me a link from a site in which they offer it? I will be very thankful.
Hi, nice video! It seems that my front end sensor is working. My problem is that the Worx Android stopped charging. I took the battery out and could charge it, but it does not charge when coming to the home base. The light turns red, but after a while goes off, before turning red again. So it seems there is a bad contact between the pins from the home base to the battery. Would it help to change the front end sensor?
Hi, I would look for a reset instruction (I do not remember if I´ve seen such) to reset the Landroid. Also check that all the thin cables are ok (the ones in the front sensor where the pins for charging enters the Landroid).
What kind of error gives you the broken sensor apart from getting stuck on obstacles? Mine Wg794e keeps turning around and then it stops giving different errors every time...blocked wheel, out of aerea, stucked...etc...main problem is i got that from China and apparently different connection on shock sensor..at least the shop told me this and they didnt fix that..any help?
Hej Kenneth hvilken af fejl gjorde din Work?
Hi, I bought it at www.clasohlson.com/se/Frontsensor-Worx-Landroid,-E1-(2016-)/p/Pr513256000 Seems to be in stock also now. Good luck (let your web-browser translate the Swedish into english)
