Fix Your Bike Day project: Hidden issues that are very likely to come with a cheap price on a bike 

I'm going to record the process of me working on my 🏍 and upload it as "Fix Your Bike Day" here on youtube so maybe I can provide a little insight on this DIY thing, at least with my 🏍, which is a Honda CBF 250 model from 2006 (not such a common bike)
Sadly, today the weather was bad so I had to park her back inside. I will have to order the choke cable and when I receive it, I'm going to start fixing her, so stay tuned for more videos in the near future. Problably 2 weeks from now on...
First off, I want to say that while this 🏍 had a few initial small isues, it lasted 750 km as I rode it back home from where I bought it in one take, without any issue on the way back. It runs ok, but there are a few things that need to be adjusted.
However, if you want to go for something cheap, make sure that you are willing (and able) to:
1. Spend a few more money to bring it in good working condition. There is almost no such thing as a perfect deal. Things aren't cheap because they have no problems.
2. When buying a 🏍, do the proper research beforehand. Fully test it in order to find any possible issues. You will find plenty tutorials on how to check a 🏍 before buying it on YT. Ask the guy for to tell the story of the bike, how he got it, why he wants to sell it (the more detailed story the better) before, and when you actually meet him. If his story has faulty logic, or he kind of doesn't know what to say... or if the 2 variants are different, you may wanna avoid buying the thing.
3. If you're new to this game (like I am), get something cheap. Small engine, carburetor, simple electrical design. Of course, you will have to tinker with it.... But if you really want a 🏍, then be ready to figure out how it works. You can take it to the workshop if working on it is not an option, though it'll cost you a bit more overall. I however, and for good reasons don't trust the local workshops here...
4. Accept the love/hate relationship with the 🏍 and have fun fixing and riding it.
5. Wear protective gear. Helmet, gloves, boots at a very minimum. And ride smart and safe...
