Have you ever noticed someone “waddle” while they walk?
The scientific term for this would be a “trendelenburg gait”, which essentially describes the side to side motion that happens when some people walk.
This occurs due to weakness in our hip abductor muscles - in other words, the muscles that stabilize our hip from side to side while we walk.
