THIS ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ME!!! I've been battling a pelvic tilt for 15+ years and have tried SO many different stretches and exercises, and only a few of them helped a little bit, most not at all. I did all three of these exercises This morning and noticed an immediate realignment. This is a game-changer for me. THANK YOU!
Like this guy 👍. I asked a chiropractor what I can do at home to selfhelp and she don't know or didn't want give info. She's no longer my chiropractor.

@@scottbaxter2682 Sad thing is that chiropractic actually works when performed correctly but most don't want to fix the root of your problem(s) because that's the end of your vi$it$. It funny how chiros mock the medical system pushing drugs for money while they skirt around fixing your root problems for repeat business.
My husband has had crippling pain in his hip and lower back for over a year and we just cant afford to go to a chiropractor. His right hip sits much higher since the wreck he had. Tonight it was so bad he was in tears. I found this video and got him to do this and he was cracking and poping from the second he started. He stood up and almost jumped in excitement. He said he could just kiss you 😅. Thanks for this video more than you will ever know
@@thetaylorholt There are many exercises that can help, especially more advanced ones for athletes (which Dr. Starrett focuses on). I just think these are the easiest for beginners. Thanks for watching!
*Its odd to me that you have all those chiros on youtube clearly exploiting young women. Its VERY strange. They operate locally. So youd think... ya know? Do I have to say it? lol*

After nine months of waking up every single morning at 4am with pain in my pelvis, I did this video twice and an hour later my left hip did a huge click. Last few nights I have slept without pain or need for pain killers for the first time since February. Thank you!
Would it be ok if the difference was caused by trauma, car accident with pelvis broken in three places? I was 16, willing to try just wanting to be sure. Because the thought of my hips popping sporadically is terrifying.
After 2 years of trying to figure out what was wrong with me and countless doctor visits (chiro, pt, message, neuro, pain specialist) I had my left hip pop and instant relief, thank you.
I want to publically thank Dr. Rowe for putting these videos on line. As a chiropractor myself, I plan on sharing these videos with my patients. I appreciate all your hard work and dedication.
do you have recommendations on how to find a legit chiro in my area? Im tired of spending a boatload for consultations and first adjustment only to find out its not what I need. I need more intense adjustments and specific ones for my ribs that come out. it seem to be all over the board with chiros theses days. some don't do extremities or do not have correct techniques that I need. or just simply aren't aggressive enough for a good adjustment. I have been seeing chiros for 15 years and still dealing with the same issues when I started. it provides relief but my adjustments don't hold and it feels more like a bandaid approach than actually resolving my issues. I wish I was in your area! you provide exercises and more things to help.
Can you give a few more details? I'm really curious about your experience as my left leg is longer and the exercises don't seem to have that drastic an effect.
This guys actually really dope and can save you alot of money and pain. You'd actually be better off doing this, and deep stretching, than going to a shitty chiro

This really works! I have had this issue long time, but I've not been able to fix it by myself. How often should I do this exercise? All the best from Finland and thanks for great content!
Glad it helped! You can do the first part as needed if you feel unbalanced. As for the second exercise, you can do it a couple times a week to help strengthen muscles. I would focus more on the strengthening exercises since they will help more in the long run. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for making this information available, for those of us who either can't get to the chiropractor or whose chiro never told us about this! Fist bump and high five!
The amount of upper back relief I am getting from these exercises is insane. It is crazy how much these exercises have helped the pain in my subscapular region.
anyone with a sitting job really should take time to do these exercises every day, maybe twice a day at that. The stretch at the end was new for me - just tried it out and it is really worth the effort. Will bring these into my daily routine - morning and night. Just really helpful - thanks!
Honestly thank you so much. I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix my back pain. Last time it lasted 10 days before going away on its own. Googled high hip and you came up. Thanks brother. Feels way better after doing this exercise twice. I now know I have something I can do to help it rather than lying on the floor for multiple days
My left leg feels higher but that side of the pelvis isn't necessarily higher than the other side, rather it seems the pelvis is horizontally rotated a bit towards left. Feel that way all the time. Will these exercises help?
Here’s to anyone looking for that one specific comment like me; I’ve been bed ridden for a few days since I can’t move at all because of my lower back pain. I tried the first two exercises under my family’s observation (please make sure, If possible, to have someone with you in case you get locked up something) very, very carefully while in bed. It really did give me some relieve, at least enough to be able to move a bit. I’ve been doing the exercise where you stand against a wall with your arm since yesterday, and all together I’ve noticed my hip shift into position a bit (I’m not completely there yet). But most importantly, I have WAY less pain, which I’m really really grateful for. Thanks doc!! PS: anyone else feeling like they’re too young to go through this? I’m only 26 😭😭😭
To the OP I had my first back surgery at 24 years old. I had a fusion of S1-L5 and L5-L4, I'm now 37 continue to have my ups and downs. Back issues are no fun and those who have never delt with them cannot relate. Keep your head up and hang in there.
Madmartigan thank you for sharing! I can’t even begin to imagine how painful or stressful that must be. I’ve watched my mother go through ups and downs too, which is why I am really scared of injuring my back. I went to the doctor and thankfully he couldn’t find anything wrong with my spine or the discs 🙏🏽
I cant thank you enough for this video. I was in so much pain even though i go to chiropractor for this issue but keeps coming back. This video helped me a lot!!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Wow! I did these and noticed a big difference this very first time. I have been in Physical Therapy for 3 years and these are the most effective exercises I have ever done. Thanks a million!😃
After 27 years of cleaning carpets I thought I may at the end of my business until I watched this. Incredible. After years of chiropractic treatments and anti-inflammatories this made me feel better than I have in years the first day I did it. Thank you so much Doctor. This was life changing for me.
I used to clean carpets. I don't think people realize what a labor intensive job this is. I did it for eight years, and it destroyed my shoulder. Gave me SI joint dysfunction as well. I feel for you doing it for that long. I hope you are feeling better. Take care friend! 🙂
Wasn't getting the first exercise at first, but I realized that if you drive the leg that is weaker upwards, it helps to activate that side of the hip and vice versa. Similarly with the third exercise, I feel like the leg that stands on the raised platform is the side that is being activated and strengthened - I hope I got this right because I have a really strong left lower back, hip and legs so my left side is always tight but my right side feels like it's wasting away because I can never activate it. So I'm only trying to do these exercises to activate my right side. Overall, the second and third exercises feel the most effective and I'm actually noticing a huge difference in my walking (equal pressure on both legs) immediately after the exercises. The second exercise also consistently gives me a pop when I do the first rep. Amazing!
Same! My weak side was the left side and I actually lost 0.5 inches off my calves due to not putting enough pressure on it when walking. After doing this, I can feel that I’m applying equal pressure on both hips and similarly to you, only 2 and 3 felt good. Gonna try them for a month
It's uncanny how many times I've thought "hmm my X hurts today, I wonder how to stretch that" and then your video pops into my feed with relevant info.
This is a brilliant video. I’ve had back pain for about 21 years, Pars defect in L4/5 and a severe sacroiliac disfunction. My whole body has just got worse over the years, right leg so much shorter than the left and my whole body is imbalanced, severe tightness through all my left side, and absolute no muscle strength in the whole right side of the body to keep it in position. I’ve been doing you exercises daily and my back as never felt better in years. I feel like my right glute is starting to finally fire and slowly starting to rebalance. A long way to go still but thanks for sharing, you literally saved my life. I’ve been through so much depression and my back imbalance has caused so many isssues throughout my body throughout the years with misdiagnoses. Thanks again, keep up the great work. It’s life changing
I am really happy to heat that, and I'm so glad you found this video and it made a huge difference. Thank you for watching, and I hope to hear more from you in the future!
Can't believe it, but IT REALLY WORKED FOR ME!!! I've been struggling with lateral pelvic tilt for years and couldn't walk for longer than an hour, did the first 2 exercises only once, and now I'm back to life again! Thank you so much!
have you been reading my mind because I didn't say a word about my hips being out of place. after noticing it and trying to figure out what to do I saw this video within a half hour. and you got right to the subject matter and you make perfect sense. thank you so much. my chiropractor died 2 years ago. I traveled almost 400 miles to see him, among other things, but it's wonderful to know that I can do simple things to relieve pain and keep my body in sync. bless you bless you bless you ❤️
Best part about this is when my wife came home, caught me on the kitchen table in my underwear, with a broom stick between my knees grunting as my hips realigned. Because the pain finally stopped after six months of whimpering pain, my gonads dropped out of my BVDs as if I just walked out of a sauna and my manhood sprung back to life kinda pulsating after the broken broomstick slapped it.... Anyhow... we're expecting another child when she said she was done making babies after 48.
Does that cause frequent urination? I'm suffering with lower back pain, side pains under rib cage plus limitless bathroom visits for urination plus groin pain(defo I have no hernia) After I had a major surgery 3 years ago (that changed my life badly) I was a bed ridden spent half of the days in bed. Medical people they done so much test on me blood, urine, ultrasonography MRI you name it but they couldn't figure out what is wrong with me. So until last week I did not know about SI joints pains.,video's so now I'm trying to educate my self and my GP! We all sort initially Urinary tract infections and kidney stones problems. But was told my kidneys in the perfect conditions. I have no hernia.definitly. Any suggestions would be nice and appreciated. Thank you.
Did you feel any awkwardness in your hip during the exercise before your hip popped back in place? I’m asking because I’m experiencing discomfort at first so I stop before my hip pops.
@@eyesofthetiger3568 Hi - I know this was 8 months ago so I hope you’re not still suffering with this, but I suffered the same and discovered it was my tailbone that was out of alignment. After manual readjustment the problem disappeared instantly. Hope that helps - take care my friend.
@@MsBellaStJohn Good morning ,Thanks for taking time and responding to me, yes that was 8 months ago, by then I suffered so much but now day's I'm OK. Have done couple of exercises regularly then everything seems fine. As you know sometimes life works for us mysterious ways beyond our control, stupidly I made a big mistake 3 years ago I decided to go ahead with a surgery operation which was not necessary for me (I was fooled and framed by people whom you don't want to know) so that operation changed my life. Anyway I don't wish to be so negative and make you feel bad. I'm glad that you are in a good health right now. It's so wonderful to hear from others about their health conditions. Take care and have a lovely weekend 🇬🇧
I've been fixing my neck all day today and my body finally noticed how badly aligned my hips are, too. you really helped balance my hips out. I'll continue doing these and work t recovery. Thank you!!
Man, i really feel it in those stretches. Being 6'8" n almost 40yrs old, my back is super wonky. I work too much to have time to visit chiro. High right hip one of my major issues and this stretch...omg...hip feels loose again for first time in forever. Ill def continue this every other night! Thanks so much!
I’m 28 with arthritis it’s been raining like crazy everything has been in so much pain broke a broom stick felt the whole left side of my body pop and now everything is back to normal...wtf just happened lol
Thank you so much for this video! After doing the exercise I felt relief straight away. I can clearly see that my shoulders are more level in the mirror!
I just tried the double fist between the knees one and felt an instant click in the middle of my bottom lower back, like a separation almost, it felt surprisingly good instantly. Thank you Doctor
After a major fall I had I landed on my tailbone I’ve suffered unbearable pain. My activity levels dropped immensely due to lower back issues. These exercises helped my lower back pain and even helped my alignment. My knees don’t pop when I bend down now. It’s crazy. So thankful I found your video. I’m going to repeat these exercises as much as possible.
Damn man I had walked around with an inguinal hernia for 19 years until ten years ago which screwed me up due to favoring one side but it wasn’t until today that I came across this...sounds confusing what I experienced but I swear to god I could feel my heartbeat in my left ear as this feeling of pressure rising and than dropping it was amazing pain relief lol I’m starting to think my perception of how my body is supposed to feel is really distorted this might be impossible to reverse bc of the way I trained myself to walk as a kid due to that hernia idk but damn that felt good my left hip is low as hell
You just RADIATE light from inside. That's a beautiful thing to see. Thank you for taking the time to put together and film these videos. It's so generous to share you knowledge and experience with the world.
I’ve always known the first part but it always seemed like I was bandaging a bigger issue. The second part is what I’ve been missing for years! Being 6’5” i always end up sitting in the most awkward positions and this hip stretch has given me at least an extra inch of travel via my right hip. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️
@@RESISTAGE most of the pain went away but I can definitely tell that my hips are out of place. I've been trying to get seen by the VA but no luck yet.
Thank you 🙏🏾 sir! I’ve add those exercises to my arsenal. My problems are with my hip, pelvic, shoulder and lower back(all on the same side) those exercises definitely are a Godsend!✌🏾
Absolutely unbelievable! This fixed my pelvic alignment. My knees would flare out when squatting prior to the correction. Now my knees and hip are perfectly aligned when squatting.
ive had lower back pain since giving birth almost 2 years ago... sometimes its so bad i can barely walk. i just did this and i didnt hear a pop, im going to keep trying but my back does feel significantly better, to the point it brought me to tears.. i only realized this past week that my hip is high. im only 22!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I have hyper-mobility and my muscles had become so tense that my hips had become so aligned. While doing this stretch, I felt so much relief and my hips were almost completely normal.
My left hip is higher, I'm riddled in pain from sciatica and after being in pain for ages it's caused me to start leaning but not noticed until it was to late.. Any one else here with sciatica and a higher hip
I fell flat hitting the crest of my left hip. After that, one day coughing, I felt a twitch on my lower back and got pinned to the floor with back and leg pain. Tried the isometric exercise and had some sort of relief. Finally something! Thank you so much!
After playing basketball and other sporty stuffs all day, my right hips hurt so bad when i walk, when i looked at it, the bone is sticking out more than the left one, i will try this cuz i will try to save some money
So I find it pretty creepy that as soon as I go to my Chiropractor appointment, Chiropractic videos start showing up in my RU-vid feed....*queues x-files music*
Im literally crying right now pain went away after I've did the 2 fist exercise I heard a big pop and like 20 seconds later that pain was at my lower back and would travel to my shin and top of my foot was gone, this pain was bad that I couldn't walk or sleep
I hurt my back at work 4 months ago moving a patient in the ER (herniated disk L3, and somehow my pelvis is .5-1" out of line), I heard and felt a loud POP come from my spine and I've been going to chiro weekly for 4 months. The adjustments only help for that day but fall out by the next. I haven't been able to sit in over 4 months due to the shooting nerve pain that goes down my left side sometimes cause foot/leg to numb. If I don't sit it's not too bad but once I sit longer than 5-10 minutes in a day my back and hip/leg scream rest of the day with constant sciatic pains. Anyway, I found your videos recently to recreate the adjustments my chiro does and it's been a tremendous help to just alleviate some of the pain that builds up through the day. This and the video "SAFE lower back mobilization stretch" have really eased my pain at night and let me sleep a bit better. Seriously, thank you so much.
I have hip dysplasia and this worked phenomenally. The exercises the doctor gave me only work sometimes, but I've been in pain for 3 days now, tried this and heard a pop. Feels so much better!
I have been struggling with this problem for years. Thank you for the tips. I am most definitely going to try these exercises. This is a great form of information for those of us who cannot get to the chiropractor, especially in this new time we’re living in. Thank you, so much, from Massachusetts
THANK YOU. My run yesterday had too many hills I think and I was hurting bad today. My right hip was higher and I did the exercises and feel much better.
