I just broke the TBS Unify Pro32hv and Bro I know this is an older video but I started searching for ways to fix it and the Drain Man had one! Your a the shit and love your videos! This was super helpful and now I can go through my box of broken VTX's and fix them all for back ups!

the advantage of resoldering a connector to the pcb is that there's less leakage. the wire will radiate where the shielding is not surrounding the center wire. try to keep at least the unshielded part as short as possible.

Yes you are right the short piece of center wire is actually acting like a bad tuned antenna So keep as much ground wire ad you can arround the center wire

Great tutorial bro, didnt find a better one. I didnt suceed since I killed the pad since it was too small and close to the others so untill I put them together, the pad was oldery a little off and I think thats why its not working for me, great video tho.

Thx for this vid. I had my male break off in the female on my Dji air unit. I did order more female mmcx components for the board but this seems easier. Unless you advise otherwise.

I feel like you missed the most important part..... Are you supposed to make sure the side solder joints don't bridge with the middle connector? You are right?

great video. My mmx was ripped off but it looks like it took the solder pads with it. the ground is OK on the back side, but the center post looks like Im F-ed. Ill keep looking to see if there is an alternate pad that I can use just on the off chance

Hi.. Want to ask.. I check with multimeter center wire and breaded wire are connected together.. Its it normal or have bad vtx?

I have personally been having better reception like this, as well as it being stronger and shouldn't break again.

But what if the copperpad from the antenna on the board was letting lose also.I cant solder the antenna wire now :-(.Can i connect the signal wire to somewhere else then?Thnx
