I can confirm the first solution worked - I didnt need to close down any tasks and discord isnt running but once I verified the files it said one wasnt recoverable and was added, then it launched. Thank you very much!

my problem is the game runs like butter since launch, but lately crashes in game, and i have not sound. i can't move in game or select anything whit my crusor. also when i click on anything in the screen i get some music sound from the lobby and the screen goes black. i run a lot of games whit graphics like the finals and all of it runs pretty well.

The Discovery file on my computer isnt a .exe file so t here is no compatibility tab in the properties

I actually don't know exactly why this is done. but when I was doing the previous not launching videos, a user on reddit mentioned that doing this solves the problem. i can say that it solves a problem with ram.
