From my last video that the generator won't start on LP or propane. This is part 2 that walks you through what to do to fix it. It ran on gas fuel fine but not LP.
I never use choke when running on nat gas. It isn’t needed. Also, if you over flood with lpg using the primer tickler then you can form a carbon bridge across the plug electrodes.
I changed the plug to the one you recommended and she still won’t start. What’s weird is she has run before on propane so not sure what the problem is. She will run on gas no problem......
Yeah mine is just the opposite, never ran propane only gas. Had only 15 hours on it at most. It was also only 3 months old. Ran and hooked up once or more every month. So thinking it might be the carb I drain part of the fuel tank from bolt on the bottom of the carb. It was a nice steady flow, the gas was good and even test for water. Everything came back good. I changed the oil again, making sure to fill up to manufactures specs. Still no start on gas screw in propane, starts right up. Disconnect the propane and remove the air filter, put a little carb cleaner there. Allowing for 10-13 minutes before squirting some good gas in the carb. Turn the key and it starts and then dies. Btw the choke is in the correct position per the manufacturer specs and yes the fuel line is set to open. I’m not sure how to check the solenoid voltage for when starting it with gas but I have reached out to this company 4 times over the last two weeks and can’t get any help. It’s kinda a let down cause this was the perfect solution for my needs. Oh and I tested the spark plug, it was in good working order with plenty of spark and .20. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear from you.
