❤❤❤❤❤❤my car was doing that!!! Exactly same thing I change the distributor started cracking it on and off pumping the gas to keep repeating it till it turn on. 😂😊😊😊😊 happy now. Now I have an issue again I’ll be driving half day and sometimes the. Car won’t start again I will hand to crank the car 🚗 Honda civic 2000 lx I think 🤔 could be the fuel ⛽️ pump have a full tank on 91 something clog I know to I need a another motor soon wish you could help me
Turn your distributor 180 degrees. I had to replace my distributor and couldnt figure it out for the longest time, but I took it to a shop and they said it was 180 degrees wrong. Somehow the old one must have broke and when I put the new one in I put it in the same. Hope this helps
My 99 civic dx cranks, no start. I wish u went over any telltale issues car had before not starting. For 2 mos+ I was heavy on gas pedal, felt like car was starved of gas. Idled so rough at stoplights with AC on, been leaving it off, also when accelerating. Whole cold mos felt like it was dragging. A couple times in first mo it stalled but then started back up on its own. Then this past mo it stalled 2 or 3 times accelerating and idling, but restarted right up when cranked. Finally this week it stalled going 40. Got stuck in park a few times. Used release to roll in N. Started up fine previous week and 7 minutes earlier at home. Cranks fine but doesn't even try to start like no gas. Is there things to check before distributor? I have no working spare parts. Fuel filter? I hear pump engage when key turns. Thx for any suggestions. I know little about cars but will try anything possible.

@@Nightshade_42 Yes, turns out my distributor went out, so I replaced it but I got a cheap one and even though I put it in the same as the old one came out, it was 180 degrees different. So aftwr it got turned around 180 degrees it ran perfect
