Claude I was so surprised and happy to see your video in my subscriptions notice this month. Claude you've gotta know that there's some guys like me out here who appreciates your videos. I like the way you give your knowledge in easy to understand ways and the tips are great, for instance, who would have thought about the tube extension in the wall not being too long that it would extend into the drain T. I mean I know that but how many of us would think about that during this repair. I'll never forget it now however. Like I said, Claude it's good to see you back, looking forward to more from you. Greg
just coming back to this video to give a thanks. I'm the handyman at the business I work for and we had a leak on the urinal drain. I went to see what I could do to solve the problem and as I was disassembling the p-trap shit fell apart because of corrosion. I had an idea of what needed to be done. I did a quick google search and found your video. Made me more confident I was right and gave me the names of the parts I needed. Next plumbing job I need to do I'm gonna search your videos for pointers.
Great video, just what I needed to fix the urinal at Church, I fought that thing for hours and finally gave up and looked at the interweb and found your RU-vid video. Thank you Brother just what I needed when I needed it.
I know this is an old video but I'm working on 2 urinals at a residence and never have seen the spuds. Thank you for the great video, you saved me a lot of worry.
Hey thanks so much for the video, ex church owner here (walls are even the same color!) urinal #2 was the exact problem I had where the nut was frozen on the spud, didn’t think to cut it off.
Thanks for the video - this is exactly the same parts I'm working on in my commercial building. Have done lots of plumbing, but never a urinal. Had no problem replacing the P trap, but then found out that the spud leaked (didn't know what it was called!) - so now I can move forward like a pro! ;) Thanks again.
@@theartofplumbing I tried using a tailpiece (plastic) with a flange on top, but the problem I had is that I couldn't find a washer that would seal the 1 1/2" spud nut bottom. After trying different washers and not stopping the leaks, caused me to search for a video on urinal leaks. I am going to try the method used in the video of the tailpiece going into the spud.
