Fixing a Stihl 066 Magnum Redlight Edition Flywheel and Coil

What I did to fix my old Stihl 066 Magnum Redlight Edition saw. My coil went out and I couldn't find the old replacement coil. They stopped making it, they only sell a newer version of the coil. This video is how I made it work. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

what was the part no# of your flywheel? i'm trying to build a red light , i have a red light coil but need to match a flywheel. thanks, jim

Jim, sorry I don't check RU-vid much. The old flywheel part number 1122 400 1209. What happend to me is the coil went out and I couldn't find a exact replacement. I found a image of a double keyed flywheel for the 066. I printed off the image and set it on my flywheel and used a file to create a second slot. So now the 066 uses the new coil.
