This video reviews some troubleshooting steps that you can use to diagnose free spool issues on your heavy-duty DP winch. In this video, we show you how to properly change the o-ring seals inside the winch kick-out cover.
When we are on the road we all hope and pray our equipment holds true and works quickly and efficiently to get us off the road safely, Not everyone gets a chance to take a winch apart or perhaps nervous to do so. Like many of the @Miller industries videos they may not apply to everyone at that moment, however at some point they will be used, viewed and applied to the daily operation of your light wrecker, flatbed, trailer, or Heavy duty. Thank you miller for always helping the general public and your customers
I appreciate the humor, being in the towing business we all understand life is too short to not laugh, but your question grabbed my attention because we had a Holmes 850 with conversion work done ( hydraulic winches and under lift) so technically yes it did work on the Holmes but the video description clearly states diagnose "Heavy Duty DP Winches" typical fellow tower never read the instructions, LMAO
