I’m a senior and had a nervous breakdown when I was in college. Was assaulted and had my beautiful waist length hair chopped off after I passed out. Spent 2 weeks in the hospital. Have had problems with nerves and anxiety ever since. I get uncomfortable every time I have to go anywhere. Or when someone comes over. Sometimes I just have to lay down and I can sleep for a whole day. Some of my kids don’t like that I take medicine for it and still occasionally ask me, why do you take this?, you need to get off of these! And I remind them about the abuse and how devastating it is still for me. Great video.

Love watching you just clean, and also show how you struggle. I feel like I'm not alone in the struggles I have on the daily. Thank you for being vulnerable and being honest. Good luck on your move! Take it one day at a time! 🙂

I have to comment on the roach issue...I lived in Florida for 30 yrs, please, please check EVERYTHING you pack before moving and go through EVERYTHING outside before taking it in your new home. If what you have are the tiny German roaches, they will take over your new home, they multiply like lightning even if your home is spotless. And find a good monthly exterminator 😊 FYI...I left Pinellas county and came to Wisconsin lol Much love from Green Bay

I've had 2 apartments where I feel like the landlord/maintenance was in there more than I was. The psycho landlord would come in for a full inspection once a year and nit pick everything and if there was an issue, even a really insignificant one, she would write an email report and cc all tenants on it so everyone knew everyone's business. Other times she would make random visits if she had a repair person to see one of the other units, she'd invite herself into all units so the repair person could look around to see if anything needed to be fixed. Sometimes zero notice which is illegal and she would not answer the phone or check the email to see whether you said yes or no. She was a complete nightmare and I ended up reporting her and filing a very long report with the landlord tenant tribunal and I left there right after. The apartment was nice but omg she was horrifying. We then moved to a brand new condo and that was even worse regarding visits. Because it was new, almost nothing was finished. I don't even know why people were living in the building. Multiple times a week random people would come into the condo and go through things, install/repair things, check to see if certain things were done. We only stayed 5 months in the condo because it was so stressful to have a constant parade of maintenance crew all up in your business. They'd make a mess, not clean and were always interrupting us.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am in a very similiar situation, I have to clean and empty my old apartment tonight, been very depressed and that place is a mess. This new apartment is still almost empty.

Moving is the worst when you have a chronic illness. I had to move a few times last year and it was awful. I wish you the best!

My son's first apartment was the same they came once a month and sometimes more than that when they decided to do random checks out of nowhere. They would come home and find a note taped to the door saying they are having one and it was usually less than 24 hours. Thankfully they weren't there too long. I am so sorry you have to deal like that. Also I did like this style of video. Definitely a nice change maybe you can do more of this style in your new place.

Hey Haley, I just wanted to say you are doing amazing. I don't know how you cope with have pots and major depressive disorder. You are also living alone as you moved to improve your pots. I suffer from Hypochondria, general anxiety and IBS. I first watched your channel to learn about rabbit care (duh) but I really admire your videos as your honest when you are struggling. The way you are with your animals is so frigging cute ❤there is nothing wrong with wanting the best for your babies and doing everything you can to make sure they are all both happy and healthy as possible. Animals are very limited in being able to tell us what’s wrong or if there is a problem and some hide their pain, so constantly keeping them all checked up on and going that bit extra to make sure they are ok is totally worth it I say xxxx

I'm so sorry, thats horrible. I am truly blessed with our landlord. Him and my fiance are old friends. The first 8 years, he never really stopped except to fix the sink. He recently came because the new inspection person wanted him here. But honestly, he's been so cool. He lets us do whatever. I cogent imagine having a bad landlord, im so sorry. I'm happy you'll be moving soon. It'll be so much better for you and your mind set. I wish you all the best and much love and happiness!

I used to live in Florida. I would put tape over that crack in the door. Also, they're being jerks going in there constantly for an "inspection" make sure you get Everything in writing and they will find Anything to charge you or keep your deposit. Take pictures of everything. You got this !!!! 👍 💗💗

I am in a very similar situation right now too, Because my house got damages from Hurricane Ian There are a lot of Inspectors/Adjusters coming to my house often and tomorrow I have an Inspector from the Insurance coming EARLY in the morning! My insurance doesn't accept pets so I need to wake up extra early to take my whole bunny pen down and hide EVERYTHING!

Also, I LOVE the 15 minutes per cleaning session idea. Very smart. Much less overwhelming. I’ll have to try that. I get quickly overwhelmed by large tasks. Thank you for the inspiration.

I don’t know if anyone else said this but for the apartment you don’t need to worry about extreme cleanliness or tidyness. They are just going to look for damage so they can tell you what they want you to fix before you leave. They will expect boxes and pet hair - not to worry! I’m sorry this situation is so darn hard. I think it might get emotionally harder until you are settled in your new place. Roaches are extremely difficult to get rid of in warm climates but I hope your new place will be easier to control. I would put bait out for them wherever your pets can’t get to it. I’m rooting for you from Iowa!!🎃😘

The pill pocket you use for luca I believe is meant for both cats and dogs. You could always go on there website and see and or ask your local pet store they might know

I was living at a place and the landlord frequently wanted to do inspections.. I thought it was really creepy and have since moved to a new place where that doesnt haven and I'm so much happier.

I live in a townhouse and we've only had like 1 cleaning inspection in 5 months. I really like these vlogs and thank you for sharing your struggle with depression. I have depression bedroom/house in general so it can be challenging as well to clean. I admire you for continuing onward despite all your health challenges. I really hope the new location will be better for you. Aso I don't know how you lucked out with finding a rental that allows so many pets, but that's amazing. I know Luca is a service animal, but around where I live it's more common to find rentals that only allow 2 pets and then the usual service animal or ESA.

I lived in an apartment for a year & even with a noise complaint (our puppy would cry when we weren’t home) they never inspected my apartment. Very odd behavior I think.

You did a great job of setting your priorities and getting done what you could even though it was tiring and stressful. I understood about having a hard time eating that oatmeal. That crack in the door is awful and I abhor roaches. I hope the new place is better for you and all your household.❤️🙏🏻

It's okay to have a messy house, so many people end up having a messy house, mine is pretty messy right now (I say pretty messy but like, VERY messy-). At least you pretty much have a schedule, I don't have one at all. Also yes, I probably should go to bed since it's almost midnight. 😂

Wow that is crazy! As much as I'm not overly fond of Alabama, I can say I do live in a good apartment complex. They only do inspections every quarter and if I ever need something I just let them know. As someone who suffers from severe depression, anxiety, has sun allergies, and a rare respiratory heart problem I do sympathize with you, but you got this!! I wish you and all your animals the best 🙂. Lord knows I would be in a worse condition if I didn't have my black cat Toguro whom is almost 3 years old.

I replaced my phone with the pics of the damage that was here when I moved in, and the photos didn't transfer to the new phone...I dread having to pay for a cracked mirror, chipped marble flooring, oil-stained marble floor, etc. none of which is my fault. Still, it's better than owning a house and waking up to a new catastrophe every day!

I'm guessing the owners R just looking monthly to make sure there is no poop or pee laying around and no damage so don't take it personally. If U saw how some tenants live in filth and leave it when they're evicted U'd understand.

I was wondering, isn't bad to supplement animals for arthrisis if they don't have it ? My vets tends to say that (I'm living in France), so i'm confused. Could you make a video about rabbit diet ? For exemple you said once it's not good to give them persley all the weeks, and I don't understand why (like before, never read thing like that in french) Thanks to share this kind of "raw" videos, I like it bc it's help to think i'm not alone with my struggling, it's nice to watch and I always discover new cool stuf ^^
