As someone who doesn't live in a nice place which sounds very similar to yours I totally understand it. It's very stressful and not a healthy environment to be in. Especially with anxiety I'm happy you're able to get out.

Does your dad ever get tired of the physical labor he has to put forth to redo your rabbit room every time you move? That’s a lot of work for him. I get it when you talk about anxiety around people. The pandemic has brought this anxiety to the forefront for me. I’d much rather surround myself with animals than humans. That place sounds like trouble. I’m glad you’re getting out of there and I’m sure your parents are, as well. Not a good environment for your animals either! Onward and upward! Gold star here!

Hayley, I do understand where you’re coming from. I’m older than you, but I was about your age when I first encountered problems with neighbours playing loud music, arguing late at night and so forth. This has had a lasting effect on my mental health and as a result I am overly sensitive to noise to this day, even when the noise is within the realms of normal, reasonable behaviour. I understand you wanting to move and I’m very glad you will be doing so. I understand how desperate you may have felt whilst dealing with these issues and with worrying for your own safety. I am sending prayers your way. I also have POTS and also EDS and am disabled and have multiple chronic health issues. I live in an apartment for adults with disabilities and it is very stressful. The walls are paper thin same with doors and floors. I smell my Neighbors weed and cigarettes all day every day and it makes my asthma flare up, I smell their burnt food all day in the kitchen, and everything is falling apart and old. Lots of fighting and inconsiderate neighbors too. I live in WI Unfortunately I’m low income and don’t have the ability to move but I’m glad your able to move! Don’t feel guilty for the privilege you have , be grateful and pay it forward when you can! Sending love!

I totally understand where your coming from and I live in close quarters with my neighbors. People cause me anxiety that is why I only leave my home when necessary. I shop online and my husband handles everything else. I just leave the house only for dentist or doctors appointments. I yearn for more space, privacy, and freedom from being around others. Me and my husband feel so free and at peace by ourselves. No drama. Nothing but love.

I heard of the horiable storm last, I hope you didn't get affected by it. I have visited FL twice. I relate and understand. I have a lot of rabbits, but no cats or dogs, but I love your advice and 101 rabbits' store.

The entire reason I pay too much to live in my apartment is, the people who lived here before me told me, "We can't even tell we have neighbors!" I feel like a stepped -on spider if I hear noise from the other side of the wall,lol. I share a dryer venting situation with next door too and major mildew! I insisted on the top floor because I can't stand noises over my head! I think all that is normal for a sensitive person who notices their surroundings! Don't let those yang people, the jocks, etc, make you feel "weird" Obviously, rich people don't live anywhere near other people!! So, NO ONE "likes people" lol. I will check out thr dog toys! My girl is so spoiled, yes, my floor is carpeted with her toys. Gold star,lol. You are always interesting!

Oh man… I relate so heavily to you it’s crazy. I just started watching your channel today as im a first time bunny owner with lots of questions. But I clicked on this video because it looked interesting and now I just feel like im not alone because you were dealing with almost the exact same thing as me and even with the anxiety. There are nights I barricade my door because I feel so unsafe with how many people around me. Crappy doors that could get kicked in in less than a minute. Sometimes I can’t stop my anxiety and I end up staying awake till 5 am just listening to every single noise. And don’t even get me started on my upstairs neighbors nightly bowling tournaments in their living room😂🤌🏻

⭐⭐⭐ I live in Florida too!! ⭐⭐⭐ I was directly in the path of Hurricane Ian, My roof got damaged by hurricane Ian and the flooring in my bunny room got soaked. we also had a screened porch too but it got blown away by the hurricane. Me and my bunny are safe. I had my bunny hiding inside a hard sided carrier with me inside a closet during the hurricane, similar to what you do in a tornado. Now my bunny has to live in a X-pen until we finish repairing our home but we are safe and doing well! I think it's so cool you moved to Florida! Sad to hear about the DV that was happening inside the apartment building 😕 I hope you have a amazing experience moving into your new home! Best wishes!

That is so understandable! I don’t think you’re odd at all for that. I am on the spectrum so smells & loud noises effect my mood so greatly. I’m actually in the same boat as you, that’s why I’m moving from my basement apartment soon. I also am very paranoid when people walk around my house bc I’m afraid they’ll wanna talk to me in all honesty lol. Move wherever you want! You don’t deserve to suffer. And plus, somebody else will have a home now that you’re going to move so it’s a win win :) ⭐️

When we moved back to Florida we rented a townhouse until we knew where we wanted to buy and we hated it. We never lived in a townhouse and it was just too much too close to other people. The family next door fought all the time verbally and physically. Our other neighbors also smoke weed. We hated the smell of it too. So I totally understand how you feel. We left as soon as the lease was up and are happy to be in our own house again.

I'm moving too, and getting out of a situation much like yours only I have been trying to get out for about 5 years. But I am just happy to be leaving! And I am moving into a great place I really like that I can customize more to suit my lifestyle (the new pet room is currently under renovation). Onward and upward!

Totally get it! So true! My experience of apartment living=hell & drugs crime. It’s so sad. every apartment I’ve lived they always send out “win a free iPad or computer for tenants who will write positive reviews on the websites. They always have to bribe people to write good reviews instead of fixing the horrible issues.

I totally understand, I live alone with 3 rabbits and 2 Chihuahuas. It's very important to feel comfortable where we live and the fact that we live alone around those kind of situations it's horrible. Great you're moving.

Coming from living from a home environment, it's going to be difficult to adjust to neighborhoods in Florida, I used to live in Florida as well and moved like 3 times. It's just difficult, I hope you found a better place!

Grew up in the hood and will never ever go back to that situation and the BS that went with it. I will take the bored sleepy life any day. If I want some excitement I can ride into the city and go back to my quite bed. You really don't need to explain or say sorry or whatever for leaving that place. Attached living is horrible. I live in a duplex and I can hear absolutely everything, multiple generations with a lot of people and dogs next to me. I'm used to living in a quiet detached home my whole life and wasn't expecting to live in, yes, STRESS and Chaos! I wish I could move, but can't afford anything else. Added insulation on the wall connected to theirs in the bedrooms and it basically did absolutely nothing. :( Waste of money. Also smell their food they make. Luckily the mom/grandma smokes outside and not inside.. so only restricts being outside as it's right next to me and I can't stand the smell/smelling like strong smelling cigarette smoke.

If you are ever in a situation where you hear or witness a DV incident, CALL THE COPS. You could save a life by making a simple phone call. When my ex assaulted me, all our neighbors heard it and not a single person called the cops. I was left on the floor with a broken back for hours until I could crawl my way down the hallway and get to a phone. Don't hesitate next time. Someone's life could be on the line. Step up and call the cops.

Glad you are moving wish I could move I get smells too, but I buy a special deodorizers R86 I have them everywhere they do help me because everybody suffers from smells and hearing people doing things you are in a house apartment living is worse. Good luck!
