Sorry, how is this a fire hazard? I know volvo made a revised oil filter/breather assembly but cant see how oil dripping down onto an undertray or ground below the engine could cause a fire???
I have to replace mine on my 2008 c30 t5, I see some oil filter housings for cheap but could I use those or no, do I have to have one tht says Volvo on it or can I just use an aftermarket part
Nice going... could well be the same reason why my v50 is using oil as it isnt coming from the PCV... its due a service so i'll have to take a look... it also needs the air con pulley adjusting too, just starting to get hot and it works fine for 10mins then blows hot, had it regassed last year so its not that... keep up the good work 👍
Nice Video! How is the new filter housing holding up? I'm experiencing the same oil leak and I'm also running an elevate tune. I've replaced this a year ago and it stopped the leak for some time but it recently started leaking again. Not sure if the leaking has to do with running higher boost or I am missing something.
Did you do that radiator hose you mentioned? I thought in the last video you said you were going to do it with the housing as you thought it needed to come out to do that anyhow. EDITED THIS OUT: jumped the gun haha I was really hoping to see you and everyone else at Carlisle but unfortunately I won't be able to make it now. Hopefully next year.
Do you smoke? You're CONSTANTLY out of breath, even when you're just sitting down talking to the camera in other videos... I understand when you're working...
