Not wanting to spend the big money on Genuine GM tailgate lights, I opted for some low cost Amazon Lights with which I bought here:

Added the same set to mine 2 weeks ago. Added a tiny bead of clear silicone top and bottom so they would hold better and not rattle . Put them on the outside positions. 👍

Anybody know if you can add a multi flex tailgate to a 2500 HD? I just have the standard 2022 HD 2500 button tailgate.

Is there an extra connection to add another pair of lights? So you can have four back there? I am thinking there might be because normally you can have a pair of lights and a pair of speakers Right?

No extra connection but I don't see why you cannot just tap into this harness and plug in in-series like one would christmas lights.

Would these activate with key fob when unlocking doors or lowering with the tailgate button?

Can you retro add the entire multiflex tailgate on a 2023 LTZ? Mine came with the terrible looking Chevrolet stamped tailgate.

You cannot. It would require bcm programming as well as a different harness. Maybe one day a company will come up with a mechanical retrofit.

With some wire splicing, i think you can. Since it's just LED's I do not think it would overload the circuit.

@@DemonWorks It looks to me like the wire harness that comes with these would just clip inline with each other and work just fine with two sets.

I have the Kicker sound system installed (GM/Kicker OEM Equipment). Use it 5 days a week. Its great and doesnt drain the battery. Bluetooth in your music and rock it as loud as you want, it has great volume and clarity! I have lights in the bed of my carbon pro edition and a light on my electric tonneau cover (and the factory light above the rear window)
