Your a GENIUS. Just bought the speedybee f405 wing FC and no where that i could fead did it read that the fc version had to be the same as the inav version. And no clear instructions on what to do. Turns out that the FC was version 6 and the inav i was using was a 7.1 I Found Inav 6 and now it works great. THANKS

Hi Lee, I have the same issue not being able to connect, and I have spent hours trying. I purchased a SpeedyBee that came with v6.1 loaded. However, only v7 is available for download on the website. No matter on what version you click, it always jumps back to v7 download. Any suggestions?

Hi Lee, I can no longer connect the Fleight controller to the Configurator on 2 airplanes. One controller is a Speedy Bee F405 Wing and the other is a Matek F405 TE. Both controllers worked perfectly before. On the Speedy Bee I was able to control the settings via Bluetooth. But via USB cable I always get the following message: 2024-02-19 @ 20:58:49 -- Failed to open MSP connection Greetings Didi@@Painless360

Thank you, perfect timing as my speedybeef405 wing is on 6.0 but my configurator is 6.1.0 and I can not get my GPS working! I have tried to update my speedybee's firmware but it is refusing to flash to the device. When I hit flash firmware it does nothing at all, up at the top left it does say Connected to Com1 as I believe it should. at a bit of a loss, trying to find a download for 6.0 configurator but it keeps switching me to a 6.1 download 😅

what type of esc should I use with INAV? Just getting started with fixed wing, coming from FPV quads, and BetFlight, BL-Heli_32/S.

Smaller wings use quad style ESCs as the props are similar sizes to quads. Larger motors and props on larger fixed wings work well with fixed wing ESCs. The difference? Default motor timings and some other stuff, see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-okUrPLP_Eec.html

Hello. I have a matek 405 ctr. When installing inav6.1 and 6.1.1, the gyroscope does not work (it spins randomly). After a rollback to 6.0 everything is fine. What could be the problem? I suspect that in inav.

Be careful if there us a compass installed and setup too - not having that properly setup (especially if it is on an angle) can cause some very odd things to happen)..

Hi, I have a different question. Is it possible to use INAV FC as a game controller for pc as it is possible with Betaflight using command (set usb_hid_cdc = on)?

I've not seen that, it'll be in the docs it it can... Why not use t he Bluetooth ability on your ExpressLRS radio? Far more useful.. Best of luck!

The source for what works with what is the release notes on the Configurator page. I tend to keep all the Configurators in a folder so I can use the same versions exactly... Happy flying!

You should use Configurator 6.1 for firmware 6.1.1.

@@MrD ok thanks darren. I’m surprised it let me flash 6.1.1 on the 6.0 configurator. All seems ok and flown a few times. Do you know if I would get any problems if left as is. Thanks.
