And congrats on your subscriber numbers. iNav request: a 'Level' setting' while on the bench, like the old Vector, rather than have to set degrees in 3 axis. And please follow up with a 'smoothness' feature on a dial for use in the air. I still miss the Vector's Gain dial.
Thanks Les. With regards to the level. Currently you need to tune in flight. The flight controller may not be positioned in the right level for level flight. Same with the base of the model. So it’s best to tune it. However, there is something being developed that may solve this problem. Possibly in iNav 2.7. I don’t think you’ll see a gain dial. However, I’ve heard a few other people who would like one. The best place to request new features for iNav is www.github.com/inavflight - inav for the flight controller firmware and inav configurator for the setup software on your computer. So for the gain pot it would be in inav and create an issue for the new feature. However, once the PIFF controller is tuned, you shouldn’t need to worry about gain. Great video thank you. I updated today from 2.2 - 2.5, but unfortunately I didn't realise I had to change the diff as you mentioned in the video. I'll go back and change it now. All my settings look correct in the configurator, but I suppose its settings in the software that I can't see that will be a problem.
It’s always worth checking the release notes, especially when you go between major releases. Check out the page for updating from 2.3 or earlier, as I’m sure there are a couple of other things that need to change in relation to idle throttle.
