Celebrien wasn't killed she was wounded greatly Elrond found her and healed her as best he could but couldn't do so fully so she sailed to the undying lands to seek further healing but couldn't return to middle earth.
The fact that the male elves have these perfectly pomaded and coiffed short modern haircuts kills me. Draws way too much attention to the ears, making them look fake and disproportionate. Ironically the long wigs of the trilogy look more realistic and reflect the elves' grace and age, plus they cover up the fake ears! Having a plot like this would have at least kept me distracted by the story.
@@CultureVultureMedia1 In all honesty: it had a lot of potential. Especially the dwarfen story line felt to like a different staff of writers were working on it (in a good way!). A little bit of fixing like your ideas and more focusing on a better prepared story line instead of rushing things wouldve easily made it a competitor for House of the dragon. Sadly, it cant be changed now :(. Maybe i am one the few who actualy liked some parts of the show and at least try to defend that, but even i have to admit that overall its a bad to mediocre Show with good elements and not a good one with some mistakes.
@@TheKaylar1 That's a lot of shows these days. Great ideas on paper that are poorly executed in the end. I imagine it comes down to the current climate of the industry, always pumping out the next thing, hoping it will be a hit, never wasting too much time on it if it's not.
Would Galadriel be less obnoxious and arrogant? I'm in. She has no personality trait other than "I'm always right, badass and perfect" in a Captain Marvel shallow kinda level. She's supposed to be infinitely more interesting and complex, even in her youth. RIP character development. This series disappointed me so heavily 💔
Agreed! I'd love for her to be torn in terms of her loyalty to her family, her people and her ambitions. Comparing her to Captain Marvel is painfully fair. Well put :P
Oh, grow up. You want MAGA Lord of the Rings, Trump playing Gil-galad? lol Very few problems with the show can actually be attributed to "woke". Mostly it's about bad writing and wanting to reach certain conclusions, but being unable to do it in a satisfying way.
You're right, the specific conclusions are the problem. Regardless of political leaning, just the fact they so heavy-handedly push any modern political undertones at all is getting in the way of the stories being told :/
This whole “rebrand” is just bullshit semantics. People hating on the same rings of power are the same people that now look back on the 1-3 Star Wars movies as better “now”. Haters gonna hate
