The Landcruiser build was what brought me to your channel. I’m glad you’re going to finish it, even if it’s not how you originally planned on doing it. Thanks for your honesty. We each have to stay true to ourselves.
Thanks for the great video. I have a 1970 and I am just starting on a restoration. I will be scouring your videos for the 1972 and this 1967 also. Thanks for posting them and for the info on this video
Similar story here. I bought my 77 in 2010 just wanting the truck to drive, but kept getting deeper into a restoration. I now have a chassis that is almost rolling with everything painted and new zinc plating. The body is pretty rough though and I can’t really do that kind of work. Even though your body work videos were inspiring I like your new approach and totally agree with it. When it’s complete you’ll have a truck with character and it’ll be mechanically sound. Looking forward to seeing the progress.
Great to hear again from you. I love your complete restoration of the old landcruiser and I watch all the videos, I also understand your new approach for the Landcruiser restoration addicts like me, I will watch them all, thanks for the update
Very cool videos! I totally understand why you pivoted the way you did with that project. It was cool to see all the great work you did. Looking forward to seeing this one up and running. Cheers
It is so good to see you back making videos! I love your work because you are so talented and do great work. It’s also good to see Walter! I’m sure this LC is going to turn out great!
Oh wow, I was wondering what happened. I had been going through your videos the past year or so as I was looking for a 40 of my own. Not having any experience wrenching, your videos provided a wealth of knowledge. I finally settled on a '68. In any case welcome back and thanks for all the videos!
Oh man excited to see anothe land cruiser video in your feed! You west coast guys really luck out with rust free cars…. I thought the last one was even a good starting point! Keep the videos coming
I have a 1971 Karmann Ghia I’m working on. I used the Eastwood internal frame treatment on the chassis tunnel and the rocker panels/heater channels. On the rocker/heater panels I first treated it with some Ospho. I really liked the Eastwood product. It was very easy to use and seemed to do a great job. Use it and don’t worry about it, it will probably outlast us. Great channel and glad to see you back
Wow,are you a professional mecanic? Cant imagine myself doing that. Have a project right now with a smll old car for my daughter, but not at that level!!
Happy to see you taking on a new RU-vid project. I am sure it will ultimately result in a great FJ40 (for you) and lots of super hi-quality videos (for us globally).
Are you going to sell the other tub that you repaired,? Did you have issues putting the other tub back on the frame? Or did you never get that far along
Praise Jesus! Back to FJ40 content! Good and sound decision… Hopefully you can sell off all the work. You’ve already done on the previous body and frame and maybe recoup some of your money back. It will be worth it to somebody who’s in much worse situation than you.
would u be willing to help me out and sell me a few small pieces of the doner fj?...i need a 4x4 shifter..the tool box below the seat ..engine harness. .the side glass and a few other pieces
