If you want to show your support: buymeacoffee.c... Today I am replacing my fuel filter on my 1991 Toyota 80 Series Land Cruiser and I am replacing my fuel filter the right way. It has the 3FE engine that ran from 91-92 on the FJ80, 80 series land cruiser.
This process is the similar for most Toyota trucks.
I used the following tools
19mm Wrench

17mm Socket
12mm for the bracket
10mm for the bracket adjustment screw

Extension
Breaker Bar

Upon restart after replacing fuel filter..Cycle the key (3X) to the ON position ( No Crank) to fill fuel line then start it👊💯👊 Yazmin Venice Beach CA ⛱️

If ur in a garage especially with a water heater do not do a fuel filter replacement.

You waited 2 weeks? Thats pretty good. I have the 1fzfe engine. I did mine probably 8 years ago and remembered it sucked. I bought a new filter 2 years ago and just recently replaced it. It was horrible. I wish they would have mounted it in an easier location. They probably would have sold millions of fuel filters. 😂 thanks man!

Thank you! my 94 was in the driveway warming up, then suddenly just stopped. Cranked, but would not start. Thought it was out of gas, even though fuel gauge said 1/2 tank. Added gas, cranked right up, started driving it to the closest gas station, then stalled out again. As soon as I got a couple of buddies together to tow it back to the house, it started up again. Drove it back to the house. Going to try the fuel filter first, since I don't think it has ever been changed.

Hmm ive been wondering for a while why my 1994 landcruiser drops to 400 rpm occasionally replaced the IAC and its been better chasing down grounds all week to try and find the issue i didnt realise the fuel filter was that easy for some reason i should of swapped it out a long time ago just to be sure will do it soon

I’ve had a 91 LC for about a month now and your videos have absolutely saved me dude. Looks like we both got one of those 80’s that was NEVER maintained

Good video, interesting to see the difference in location from yours to my 1993. Mine is on the drivers side right behind and just underneath the oil filter. Needed a 21” ext and was also a beast to get out. I should have made a video...learning that videos really help the community.

Great work with this. My 91’ kept just randomly dying and couldn’t figure out why but someone mentioned it could be the fuel filter and your video made it possible. Thanks dude
