Not even gonna front Curtiss, if it wasn’t for you and your streams, I wouldn’t even be as efficient in FL Studio as I am today. Been using Logic Pro for 10 years before 2020. Appreciate you always.
For beginners with FL like me, the more tutorials coming from producers that you know make that "good music". the better. So any kind of tutorial is welcomed! Keep them coming.
So glad your the only one that’s showing us beginner producers what all the other ones hide from us. I’ve been trying to collab and learn with other producers but they won’t help or teach me. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this for a few years it just popped up on my feed 😬
Exactly I thought this was going to be in the tutorial. I’ve always wanted to actually use my drum pads for samples If you find a method to program them please let me know 🙏🏾❤️
Thank you for making this video , I've been wondering why my white and black keys were not playing like they were supposed too and I've been searching the whole YT for that till I found you , simple and straight forward 👌🏼💯🔥💪🏽
Bro i had that midi channel set to 1 for like the last two years and couldnt figure out how to get my shit back to a keyboard until today hahahah many thanks
I learned the omni preview trick from iBeenart. But wasn't aware of the layering method. So thank You Curtiss! I always learn something new from ur channel.
Shoutout 2 u the Great Curtiss King man. I just wanted to say that thanks to you i recently before the year ended purchased the FL studio Everything bundle. I just wanted to thank you because you are a substantial reason why I did. For damn near 2 decades I was illegally using it an now funny it just feels like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you
if you righ-click on the Pattern in the playlist... you can select split by channel and it will place each sound on separate tracks... well actually it will break it up into different patterns.. then you can drag it on to the playlist on seperate tracks. That split by channel would only work for the second method he demonstrated in the video
Haha Larry oh be helping us all 😂 yo nice video! So useful for someone like me who is building their studio. I have a full sized keyboard cause I’m a pianist but it doesn’t have a beat pad. Very cool my guy 😎 thank you!
Thank you for this Gem big brother been looking on RU-vid on how to do that finally today I know sir,,can you have a tutorial on how you made the (take all day) beat visuals
Curtiss....there's another way you can use your controller....I got this from this producer name Al Be (shout out to the brother )That you can use your pads not only for your drums but control your record, play, and stop buttons depending on what type of controller you have....it helped my work flow a lot! Thanks Curtiss
Hello guys, please I need suggestions about this dilemma of choosing between Novation impulse 49 and Alesis VI49 for FL studio. Which is more compatible with FL?
I'm pretty sure they will both work at a pretty base level, I know that novation cater mire to Ableton, but I just got a novation launcher mini mk3, and I use it with FL fine. I think the vl49 is more catered to FL, so I would go with that one. Both would work good tho
Hello Curtis King how do you make so you can play both the drums at the drumpad and the keys at the keypad at the same time ive been searching awhile for someone to show me but i cant find it do you know how to do it??
Curtis I still have Fl 9 but I also have a mpk mini 3 now I anna use my pads too not just keys can u explain to me how to make this work with both keys and pads bro?
in the method mapping The Omni Preview Midi Channel the notes in omnisphere or any other vst sim do not work, however I have seen youtubers that do manage to get things going but charge money for the template, could you help me
for some reason mine plays two pads at once. I tried using the "Map notes for entire bank" option and that didnt work. I want to be able to play one sound at once and have it be in the correct order with the Drum Pad and FPC.
I have done what your explained in the first half, but my keyboard will only play the sound of ONE (first one i selected) even though I selected multiple. Does anyone know why? Ive tried the steps a few times, always only inputs one sound on keys...
Can I do it with drums and keys for example? Can I have keys on one part of keyboard and on the second part drums and play them at once? Because I wanted to record different instruments in loop so switching them by clicking on each instrument is quite hard thing to do while recording whole song in real time
What up i got the akai mpk mini mk3, So my only issue is when i hit record, it will record whatever im playing but when i try to record over that melody with the same instrument instead of it adding extra melodies it replaces the melody i use fl studio 20
How do you play chopped notes eg,the chopped hats by pressing and holding the key(button)...I see it mostly being applied by trap producers in trap beats and drills
so i got a akai mpk mini 3 and im tryna get my drums pads to hit each seperate channel at a standard c5 note and play the keyboard seperate how do i config it to do that because im having trouble being productive on it
Put the omnipreview to 10 and then press and hold the "Prog Select" button and tap pad 7. You should be all set up then. Each instrument will correspond to each pad, even bank B.
